A whipped cross onto the head of Onuachu and a goal.

I was mad to suggest the return of JWP apparently but that combo was something I was looking forward to testing/seeing in the premier and one that probably would have saved us/added more excitement.

I mean, at the end of the day JWP may only be a one trick pony but that would have been one more trick that any other of our midfield would have had and couldn't have done any worse.

Lesleee lesleee lesleee if excitement is what you expected from signing Jwp you really are delusional. Your heralded RM was never going to say "get the ball unto the box early"anyway. In regards to not being any worse in a large proportion of your posts you moan about changing for the sake of change and not to better ourselves, surely this would fall into this category?

You're missing the context of my point saint Kenny. I never claimed any manager would do/opt for my JWP/Onuachu tactic just that I believed it had potential.

I didn't say JWP was exciting either. Just that a) his downfalls in midfield could have been any worse that any other out our midfielders this season and more importantly b) the thing he can bring is what none other in our team (and arguably the premiership) have .decent delivery.

Onuachu is the tallest player in the league I believe, combine that with crossing/delivery of JWP and that was the excitement I was talking about. The goal against crystal palace was a testament to that. I'm not sure about you but apart from dibling I haven't gone into many games and seen an outlet for us this season.

JWP/Onuachu was a real option/possibility and compared to what we have/ended up having it would have been worth a punt.

I'm not comparing the two but similar to having Beckham and Couchy in the same team. Eventually the combination of the two are going to get you a goal.
