Good’aye all fellow posters.& happy and successful season.I have deliberately delayed from expressing my opinion until most of “the dealin’s been done”.However congrats to WS, JS and the Board for skilfully and successfully negotiating the sale of several Players allowing us the luxury of purchasing the astute signings to form potentially when fully integrated within the squad the best to grace ST.Mary’s for several years.Kudos also for Will Still for reversing the psyche of existing from the RS era into a dressing room of positivity and self belief.So from hereon in with an exciting well equipped squad capable of alternating to combat various opposition styles it’s onwards and upwards to achieve our designated goal while the Fans are sure to adopt. new ‘favourites’. Keep On Marching!

Great to have you back St John - your insight from afar is always interesting to hear. I hope you’ve kept well over your winter!

From where I sit, I won’t be surprised whatever the outcome is at the end of this season. With our new group we could form quickly and gel or we could struggle to gain cohesion and momentum. It’s a bit of a lottery.

That said, there seems to be a lot of potential and hopefully this will reap dividends.

What I will say though is I have no idea what our starting XI should look like - not a clue. Hopefully Will has though!

Yes it’s just turned Sprigtime here in beautiful Tassie with all the blossom wild daffy and snowdrops appearing - what could be better to top off Saints excellent performance in the market?
