When did one of the Ed's say anything of the sort? I had heard some saying the statements were arrogant and that there was no guarantee they he would sign but none said it was impossible. Show some respect to those who organise this site and give us good and interesting information.

{Ed007's Note - It was myself that said I thought it was highly unlikely that Wanyama would sign for Southampton. The story took 2 weeks to break in the press and his agent was already bad-mouthing your club. I said that I felt your club was being used, by VW agents, to force anyone else interested into making their move. From up here at the Celtic end the word is that it was the agent's fees that caused the deal to collapse. Something that is sadly becoming more and more regular in the game today.}
