Bit off the Southampton theme but England looked amazing tonight all the way through, I'm only mid thirties but I think it looks the best squad I've ever seen.

it's a decent squad but I can't be the only one thinking we should be playing the team who'll be starting the first match in a few months, right?
All the rotating and picking random players, just to give players a start is more of a hinderance IMO, get the spine of the team playing each match and let them learn how each other play properly.

I agree with saintysaintsaint all the way. surely after all this time roy should know his best players. based on the Germany game I doubt if sturridge [ injuries permitting ], sterling [ doesn't know what to do with the ball when he gets it ] or rooney [ passed his sell by date ] should even be included in the squad.
