So he's gone. Thought we were signing someone before releasing him? We have no academy player that can step up to the mark and VVD goes in the summer.

Saints fans are rightly frustrated. Is it now time to sell the club, get a manager in who understands the PL?

If we carry on like we are we've had it. West Ham, Stoke making sure they survive whilst we do absolutely nothing.

Still 10 days of the window . How about you support the club rather than throw in the towel. It's not as though we're getting deducted 10points

I think this year we will be ok on the basis that a few other teams are actually worse than us. Next year I'm concerned. I appreciate the positive thoughts and support your club Rom but saints have just done enough over the past few years and made shrewd transfers and played fantastic football, talk of the league. this year I'm surprised we even get a slot on motd the football is that bad, the feeling around the club looks and feels bad. It will be interesting come February when the window is shut and cup games etc are decided. so until then .

It's becoming past the point of frustration watching all of our players and managers leaving and continuing to be successful elsewhere in the premier league. It wasn't as bad with Koeman because he was successful and he signed good players. Now he's managing Everton who are quite frankly no better than us.
Now Fonte leaves for West Ham. We've finished above them for the past 3 seasons.
As soon as someone is rated highly our club they're shipped off. I don't see this happening to any other Premier League team.
Look at Morgan great for us sat on the bench at United now he's had to make a backwards move. Same with Shaw now he wants to leave.
We could prevent this from happening I believe but at the moment it seems like our people management is so poor that every player is so keen to leave as soon as there is a rumour flying around about them.
We're going to get two tales for Fonte his perspective and Reeds and Puels and it's who we believe. It must be the Fonte had been creating such a problem in the background for everyone this has been the easiest thing to do. Because a week ago the scenario was that he was worth 11mil so we've somehow lost a 3mil valuation in a week.

I think its really sad. There should be a real sense of optimism and excitement within the fans, with the club being in the cup semi final. But unfortunately, the Boards apparent lack of ambition, with the continual sale of our top players and not replacing them adequately has put a real dampener on things for many fans.

Our possession stats and chances created stats are incredible. If we had been putting the chances away then the "boring" football everyone seems to be watching wouldn't be boring at all. we all wanted jay rod to have a crack at it which he has and it hasn't really payed off, Shane longs been off the boil too which has gone against us with austins injury to boot. Hopefully the club can get someone in to help swap these chances for goals. Keep the faith guys COYR

I still haven't seen all these great chances and I go to every game. Half chances at best I would call them that the likes of Messi etc. could do something with but with our squad we just don't have a finisher.
