Interesting Ralph said we had a couple of transfers in the pipeline during his press conference earlier. Maybe I’m just being hopeful here, but could this possibly mean we don’t need to sell before we can buy? I mean if we have to wait to offload players lIke FF and Hoedt we may be waiting all window, don’t imagine to many clubs are interested.

Or it could mean we've sold. Gabbi and Davis have gone, which would have freed up a space in the squad.

I’m more referring to the idea that’s been banded about for ages that we have no money. With Gabbi and Davis leaving we’ve gained very little in terms of free cash flow right now. If it’s true we are potentially buying a couple players this window it would show we aren’t as financially limited as many of our fans seem to think.

I think there is still some money coming in from Liverpool from the VDV transfer so it may be we have the money recouped from Gabbi, Davies and VDV to spend. How much that is, no idea, but everyone from the board to RH himself has been very clear that money is tight and we need to sell to buy. Don't forget transfers can also refer to loan deals as well. I wouldn't read to much into it either way. If we get people in great, if not its because we don't have the funds, the player didn't want to come or the right player didn't pop up. I trust our current recruiters to only bring in the right people.

It was mentioned before that the next instalment for VVD would be waived as a fee in exchange for Ings signing permanently.?
