Great result tonight, I was very apprehensive when I saw the team sheet but just goes to show how well our squad is drilled and how much the players have bought into Ralph's systems 🙂I hope we now give the F A cup game a real go this year as this is still our best chance of achieving some silverware.

Big difference . Liverpool have injuries, so once again reshuffle the team. Southampton play several u23 players and keep their structure 👍👍.

Absolutely awesome game. That and City in the summer have really brought the Poch/ Koeman feel of beating the big boys back. Not only that, but unlike the City game where we were quite lucky to keep a clean sheet, last night Liverpool didn’t look like scoring at all. And with no McCarthy, Jannik, Oriol or Che, and EIGHT academy players on the bench. And an injury to Moussa after half an hour.

Ralph at full time is what I want from our manager, total and utter dedication and genuine emotion at such a great result. I just love him and never want him to go.

Diallo looks another sensational addition. KWP was super, Stephens and Forster filling in had very little serious hard work to do, JWP and Danny’s link up for the goal was ridiculously sublime, and our wide men and kids that came off the bench really did their bit.

Valery looks like he could be a decent backup RW if needed - he certainly struggled defending in his previous run in the side.

And the first side to ever beat every single PL reigning champion at least once. Let’s go for Europe 😎.
