Thought Redmond was excellent this evening, first half he was our best player. Romeu and KWP also had fine games, but Salisu stood out for me, a real presence and reminds me of VVD in his early days.

Armstrong seemed a bit lost, and Tino didn't seem to get involved a great deal. I really do think it's time to consider actually playing our best (only) LB, playing KWP in position and moving Tino up to RM, as by and large our wingers aren't the best.

Tella had a good game. I don't rmember JWP doing an awful lot - as we didn't have any dangerous set pieces, and Che took his goal well. We at least had some threat off the bench and the changes were made while they could exert some influence on the game. Think Ralph did okay tonight.

Certainly, absolutely take the point, I always will at home to Leicester from now on. But my, oh my, do we need to have a chat about the man in orange.

The first goal conceded is tame. It isn't the most powerful shot. He can probably hold it or at the very least parry it wide. As a goalkeeper at amateur level one of the first things you learn is if you can't hold a shot, make sure the ball goes anywhere but straight back into the danger zone around the penalty spot. Absolute shocker. Even in the last few minutes he comfortably gets down and parries it straight into danger. Luckily a defender was there before Vardy.

The second goal, you can see why it's gone in, but it still shouldn't be going in. It's a blasted low shot at the near post. However he is stood at his near post and the ball basically goes through his foot. If Maddison curls it into the far corner from that angle then fair play, but it's poor defending and more bad goalkeeping, and I think a better goalie - maybe not Forster as his mobility isn't great, but with the names who are potentially available - means we win tonight.

But again, absolutely take the point. Really good game, we played well. We need to and should beat Brighton at the weekend but the poor chance conversion on both sides means it'll end up being 0-0. And also congrats to Jan for breaking his curse of scoring and not being on the losing side finally!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the game.
Redmond was superb in the first half, with lots of quick passes, clever passes. He seemed to play further inside than normal and it worked. Second half he seemed to have been pushed wider, I’m guessing on instructions.
Overall I liked the way we played. As you say, awful mistake for their goal and against the run of play.

Armstrong is definitely a hindrance, awful positional play, awful distribution, shoots before looking for a pass, rarely plays any inter passing with teammates. When he went off and Ely came on, it made a huge difference to our play.

The usually defensive and slow midfield pairing of Romeu and JWP, seemed more fluent. Both pushing up, one pushing up, and more positive.

Ralph definitely seems to be learning fast.
