Not acceptable - the warning signs were there at Villa Park and the pattern of the game tonight didn't differ much.
Lack of urgency, slow mentally and second best in challenges. Forster's distribution was awful. Adams was ineffective although unlucky with a thunderbolt which skimmed the bar.
JWP - 2 consecutive bad games.
Positives were KWP and Salisu - no one else deserved a wage for their performance.
Regrettably, the last 2 games have proved that Gary Neville and Carra were spot on when they said that we were maxed out.
I can only foresee a lacklustre fizzling out of the season and my worry is that Ralph will play a weakened team against Man City in the FA cup.
I've always accepted that we will lose football matches - what I will never accept is the capitulation we saw at Villa Park and the pedestrian brand of football we saw tonight. One word summed it up - spineless
If I was Watford, even after being turned over tonight I wouldn't be too worried about Sunday.
Does anyone have a more optimistic take on things?

It appears the balloon has been pricked! The game changed at half-time when Eddie. Howe pushed his players further forward and created chaos with our defenders in the penalty area by a barrage of cross balls putting them under extreme pressure and causing havoc.Unfortunately at the opposite end our forwards were clinically toothless with Broja completely shackled once again.Perhaps against Watford Diallo Smallbone and. a couple of youngsters be given an opportunity to re-juvinate the team. With regard to our upcoming cup tie v Man. City we can only hope for a swift recovery and that Liverpool and Championship cup matches keep the pressure on them.to field a majority of reserve players against us!

Most of Man City reserves would walk into our first 11
