It would appear that saints are assuming that there thirty-five points is good enough and no longer seem to have the desire to fight for every ball as they were previously doing .whether this is a mental fault or just poor management is up for interpretation.I cannot understand how when facing one of the worst defense in the league we start with one up top .Is this too see how we y do when Broja leaves or is it because our back up strikers are not up to scratch .Also at the back the last week has again shown that our goalkeeper position is a cause for concern, the other area we seem to be lacking is a really create midfielder.Let's hope that next week all these faults can be corrected and put on a top performance against the might of Man city .COYS

Completely agree with you.
If the opponents, who are desperate for any point, see that we are starting with only one up front, then that must give them a mental boost. But more importantly, it’s a defeatist attitude by Ralph. Ok we’ve lost two in row, but we were playing second from bottom. go out there all guns blazing and hammer them! That’s how you break the losing streak!

Quite right Rich - all guns blazing - our lot had water pistols at best.
The sight of some of our players cuddling the Watford players at the end was pathetic - I’m totally with Roy Keane on that - far too much matey stuff between teams. It should hurt when you lose and I feel that the majority of fans are more disappointed than the players.
In recent weeks I’ve been proud to be a Saints fan. After the last 3 turgid performances they should hang their heads in shame.

Well that performance was akin to a.League One TEAM and Manager’s level first game of the season with several new players after the Summer recess.Any future aspirations Ralph may have re Man. Utd would see him given his Cards and P45 if he delivered 3 performances on the trot similar to ours.We definitely need a large fire sale at season’s end with a new team built around.Walker Peters ( the only Player showing Premiership level of consistency- and the Manager TBA.).

What was even stranger with playing one up front, was the bench; 5 attackers, 2 defenders, 1 midfield

So Diallo was the only option to change the dynamics of the game.
5 attackers . so that suggests me a mindset of ‘if we are losing we have attacking options’ .

I don’t know.
