After sitting here watching the Liverpool/Spurs game tonight ( good game just wish we could be more threatening up front) I was once again totally bemused. They are now going to discuss who could get in to a CL place, could it be Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Man Utd or EVEN West Ham with no mention to Saints and there we stand in 3rd place. I know none of them believe or want to believe we can do this but come on gentlemen the points are on the board so get real ! On the other hand the stadium is not sold out for tomorrow night, WHY ???? Get down there people we need you to experience something all of us have never seen in the history of SFC.
I think the basis of this all sits on the fact we have the smallest squad of all these teams, plus our fair share of injuries. To achieve what we are doing currently goes against the footballing trend where the big teams win and the underdogs come close but lose, so pundits won't be backing us for at least another 10 games you'd imagine.
I'll be surprised if we don't end up selling the last lot of tickets, aside from the cost, we are making history and no one should be missing it!
