who is your fav saints player

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lallana, has been since the League 1 days.

Rickie Lambert - by a million miles.

94 goals in 172 games.

God knows how many assists.

Always an integral link and a constant threat. Great in the air and on the deck. nice touch, great vision for a pass and a deadly finisher.

He has evolved with the club and is reaping the benefits for his great attitude, work ethic and generally being a nice down to Earth bloke.

In my opinion the best player we've had since Le Tissier and probably the most important player we have ever had. No way we'd be Premier league this season if we hadn't signed him. In fact, we'd probably be having our first season back in the Championship.

Legend.

Respect your opinion but disagree with the 'we have ever had' bit. Your obviously not old enough to remember all the seasons, Le God, saved us from certain relegation, single-handedly!

If you actually read my comment properly, you'd read 'best since Le Tissier'. In my opinion, Rickie has been a vital player for us and we would not be Premier League now without him. Is that not at least as much an achievement as helping us survive in the Premier League? Bear in mind, Rickie will again play a vital role this season in keeping us up himself. Both players are in my all time saints 11.

Obviously this isn't a priority but providing we signed defensive reinforcement, what does everyone think of Charlie Austin? young loads of potential, goal scorer, could play up front on his own?

And a big saints fan, hopefully not tho think we should be looking at better

I dont know what his injury problems actually are, but I assume they are a fairly prohibitive factor in other clubs being interested as he clearly has the ability to play above championship level. Shame. Hope he gets them sorted.

A lot like Shane Long. No crazy skills but good pace and a good eye for goal. One of those players that will always get his share of goals. Would be a good signing but agree, to push on we need to set our sights a bit higher.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he has the potential to match the ambitions of the club and evolve into the squad.

Better of staying at burnley , be playing you next season , and they won't be promoted
