who is the big signing that we are going to sign?
I'm not sure their is a big signing. I reckon it'll just be a few more reasonable signings.
There isnt one, I won't be surprised if the deadline finishes and we havent made a "Big Signing" like everyone says we are going to.

This isn't really transfer based just heard that Southampton are looking to further expand their youth programme may be opening up a second academy and running two academy teams. They are really trying to push investments into their future.

With marseille stating they need to sell due to failing to qualify for the champions league and low table finish they have agreed to let certain players leave for correct transfer suss (low) an example being alou diarra who signed for WHam. Why not take advantage of this and make a move for Mbia? experienced defender not lacking pace or even jordan ayew you and pacey can play ST or RW.

Because we would never be able to afford them? They are champs league standard players, they will go to many clubs rather than Saints.

Matt le tissier is not the only one worried about the lack of defensive signings so far! Jos is good but fonte and fox are weakness's
Need to bring some defenders in soon! What happened to lens? Any solid rumours?

Should be ready to play a few games into the season. Won't be ready for City, could possibly be ready for United.
Was warming up with the team and kicking balls before the udinese game so wont be long before he is tearing apart PL defences

Came on in the u21 game today and scored an equalising goal after about 10mins

I think Tad Lee will come good for us this season. He's a quality player, one of our best. If he's fit enough i'd play him and Sharp v Man C
