Player of the season Claise + Pelle
Europa League- we won't want to get far
League - 12th

Hope we sign CB and attacking midfielder by the end of July . Even think Austin would be worth a punt.

Having said that I am optimistic that Les Reed will offer contract extensions to those we wish to keep including ROKO! We need to avoid this end of season meltdown.

Best wishes?. Jay Rod stays fit and has a great season.

I think we'll come 9th or 10th.
I hope we start looking at new deals for some of our top players. Wanyama!! Don't want repeats of our top players running contracts down and having the upper hand when it comes to transfers etc. I think if we sign clasie he will be player of the year. Harry reed for young player. flop? Probably gaston but I'd love to see what he can really do. Can't wait for the season and some new transfers to come in!

Good to know you guys are so optimistic about this season?. why does everyone suddenly think we can't be challenging for 5th to 8th again? We were relegation candidates last year. personally I was optimistic then about a higher finish and I'm confident now we will finish in the top 8.

Purely because of the europa league and the added strain it brings. It's our first season of it too so will be a struggle to get used to playing Thursday-sunday. Look at Everton last year. For me, if we cake the group stages of europa and give a good account of ourselves and come top 10 I'd be satisfied. Especially if we could win/challenge for a domestic cup. Top 8 would be great.

* europa league- league stage (would like to think further but were new to this)
*player of the year - Gaston Ramirez ( hoping for big things from him this year's looks like he's bulked up too)
*young player - Lloyd isgrove ( does he still count as young? Maybe last chance at st Mary's. ? )
*flop ( I put this in for the negative guys who like a moan) - tadic ( still not sure on him )

A bit out there I know but thought I'd take the chance to get something goingso what do you think?. also . thank you Morgan . watching the best bits video reminded me just how awesome you are. good luck( although not against us) ;-)

Forgot the flop - I'd probably go with Tadic as well, think he may struggle to get a game now J-Rod is back and Mane looking so good back end of the season, probably guna have to fight it out with Long for starting 11.

* 7th in the league again
* first knock out round of europa
*player of the year - Split between J-Rod and Clasie if we get him, Soares I can see doing well too
*young player - As with everyone else, I think Reed. Seager might be the wildcard though
*flop if anyone it'll be Martina cause I can't see him playing much

League Position - 4th (missed out on 3rd on the final day)
Europa - semis (lost on penalties due to a Tadic 'girly-shot')
Top Scorer - Pelle/Jay Rod tie (Jay Rod on EPL goals)
Young player - Reed
FA Cup (Final win) - 5-0 against Spurs (last own goal by that Belgian defender I can't spell)
Capital One Cup - opening round - (played a really young side against Champ team)
Best Buy - Clasie (Massively successful)
Worst - Martina (aka Ali Dia's second cousin)

The eternal optimist!

Top scorer. J Rod

Top young player. Ward-Prowse ( about time he shows his true potential )
F A Cup. 5th Round
League Cup 4th Round
Europa Cup. Quarter Finals
Best Buy. Cedric Soares.
Worst Buy. We will have to see who else we get in but it will be one of them
Wild card to do well this season. Gaston Ramirez ( you know there is a very good footballer in there somewhere )

Laughable some of you think 5-8. You are all blind due to your bias. All the clubs above us have strengthened very well. We struggled with our squad last season with Europa. Defensively we lagged off towards the end, I won't even start with our attacking ability. Our preseason games show a lot. Got hammered by average European teams. Not one goal. If we don't play Jay up top I am begging for a huge striker to come on. Austin for 15 is good business. Liverpool just bid over 30 for benteke, both had shit teams but managed a good amount of goals. Pelle not good enough. The lad needs to learn to don't need to hammer it every single time even close range. Accuracy is poor. Almost hit the post as many times as the net. Gaston I'm hoping will get another chance. He is an attacking midfield player we no longer have. Creative. Also need a CB, RW. I'll be happy with those 3.

Lets hope we can the Classie deal done soon, I think if we get him in for 8-10m + a good CB we'll be looking good for next season, I'd still like Austin to be signed as then we'll have 3 big strikers competing for the spot in Pelle, Austin and Gallagher but that's hardly a priority. Les said we had submitted bids for replacing players after explain the Toby situation, is there any news regarding who these players are eds? cheers

I wonder why everybody is being so nice about Morgan leaving and wishing him the best of luck for his future career and thanking him for his great service to the club over the years . One year ago Adam Lallana left us and we just about called him every hate name in the world, I find it all a bit puzzling . People will probably say it was his rather cocky attitude that turned us against him and he will be booed again this season by the crowd when he comes down here . Morgan made it very clear he didn't want to play for us anymore last season but was forced to stay against his wishes . Adam Lallana was here long before Morgan but nobody thanked him for his services over the years so I just find it a bit odd that Morgan is such a good chap and Adam isn't . Oh well that' life I suppose but must admit I don't see much of a difference in them moving on personally .

sort of agree really but I think it's down when and how they moved. Lallana jumped ship at the first opportunity with the rest of them, showed no professionalism by forcing through a move and pretty much disrespected every fan in the process. The full page spread didn't help much either.

Whereas we've known Schneiderlin was moving for a year, which softened the blow a bit and even though he wanted out put everything into last season. Yes, he had his little strop when he was told he couldn't go last year but since then he's acted completely professionally. Probably doesn't deserve the love in he's gotten but he's acted with a lot more class than Lallana did

I don't understand why anyone has an issue with a person moving to a company to perform the same job he was doing beforehand for double the money.
People go on about loyalty but we will welcome Clasie with open arms if he comes without a second thought to his loyalty to Feyenoord.
It's football business. get over it

Look at how Morgan thanked the fans for the journey he has had, compared to Lallana, complete different class. Very apparent Lallana ended things bitterly with the club, whereas despite Morgan's social media slip-up last year he remained professional on the pitch and was always honest about seeing his future elsewhere.

Don't get me wrong, Lallana was a great servant to the club as well, and I still think he's a great footballer, but he chose to end things on a sour note.

Their professionalism can be measured by the amount of coverage they received on the OS website, which I take as a gauge of how they manufactured their respective moves behind the scenes.

So it was just the way AL left then? Tell you what though I think they may both regret leaving us in a years time when both of them have been bench warming for most of the season . Morgan is a superb player but won't necessarily just walk in to the United side and be an ever present. Still the money side of it probably softens the blow so let's be realistic the game at the top level is all about money these days and loyalty has a price and that is a very sad thing.

Disagree entirely Chris, I think Morgan will become a top top player at United, him and Schweinsteiger will form a formidable partnership.

Given the chance Morgan will become an absolute lynchpin of that utd midfield for years. He's exactly what they've been missing since keane left, Scholes too. He's a fantastic player and if he's not one of the first names on van gaals team sheet then he'll be making a massive mistake. I think with regards to the difference between lallana and schneiderlin leaving,is how lallana behaved. All the badge kissing, all the talk of loyalty and being here for years to come at awards dinners, he was our captain and he hadn't signed a new contract that long beforehand! But as soon as the opportunity came that was it. Refusal to play, see ya later. And a condescending article in the paper once he realised that the fans weren't happy. Yes, Morgan spat his dummy out last year, but he probably thought that we would seriously struggle and if he didn't try and leave his career would go backwards. Once he understood it wasn't happening and we were still trying to improve and progress he gave his all and had another great season. He's gone out on a high and I imagine the majority of fans don't begrudge him that. Same situation with rickie. But lallana handled it badly, showed utter contempt and a lack of respect to the club, the fans and, as captain his fellow players. Hence the bitter taste

Because Lalana showed no respect at all to the club Morgan stayed when everyone else jumped ship so thank you Morgan for being such a great player and I hope you get those France caps you so desperately want

After everything Brenda said about the match day programme and the disrespect shown to Lallana, LFC's website had 3 lines on Sterling leaving, and I thought the OS could be harsh!
