Common saints what are we doing, all the other teams in the league are finalising deals and there team while we are sat doing nothing. We need a CB RW and LB. Players like kjaer of wolfs berg, he wants to leave, the club want rid of him as he doesnt want to tay and is a high class player.... on the cheap from europe, lee chung yung of bolton prem exp good wide player, i know these aren't transfer targets but we must have someone we are looking at or in talks with, its been almost 2 weeks + since we had a signing and at this rate aguero and tevez will be laughing at our team atm.

Totally agree wolfsberg dont want him and he doesn't want them plus he's failed to find a new club so wolfsberg will be desperate to get rid of him on the cheap NA and NC have got to be looking at this one

We can get Phillips it seems. I just think we need a Centre back mainly.

Everyday I go on Sky Sports to see If there is any news coming from St Marys, and there are never any articles about us. I've noticed every other team has a new article daily linking them with a player and am starting to get worried. I have faith in NA and NC, however, I do think that we need a new goalie who is young and equal if not better than Kelvin, we need 2 solid center backs with premier league experience, possibly a left back although I honestly believe Shaw can handle the Premier League. Furthermore, we need someone like Matt Phillips, Zaha, not necessarily saying these two, just a winger with immense pace and terrifying dribbling skills that will rattle any defense. And finally, I think we could do with one more striker who is small and fast and will just chase the ball down and always finish when we get a chance, somewhere similar to Bent or Defoe. I believe in the Saints, but realistically there is much to improve on in my opinion the likes of : Richardson,Fonte,Fox,Hammond will not look good in the Premier League. however, up the Saints

We have a brilliant young keeper Gazzaniga is very good. I think we need a keeper in their mid twenties with a little top flight experience. I agree about the centre backs although only one needs Premiership experience. We need one at least. But I think one that other teams in the Premiership won't know will be beneficial. For wingers I'd like Phillips, Jarvis or Lens. I really don't think Zaha would be right. Striker is not a priority I'm afraid. Possibly thinking of that in January but I really think it is one you'll wait for.

What is the very latest time that a new player could be registered (assuming that we do sign someone) in order to be eligible to play on Sunday against Man.C ?

I'd imagine Saturday but they wouldn't have time to really get to be part of the squad. {Ed003's Note - Friday, registrations are dealt with mon - fri office hours}

Would like to see us put in an offer for to loan Stockdale for the season, but think we might be searching for something more permanent. Wouldnt mind seeing a bid for Aaron Hughes aswell.

I think we shouldn't take Stockdale. I reckon there are better keepers we should get on a permanent basis. I don't have an opinion on Hughes.

Also, could NC's recent "vacation" to Italy suggest talks have occurred between the club and Bologna? As well as the murmurings that a big name could sign in time for Thursday's squad revealing?
I'm not saying this is what has happened, nor am I saying this will happen... But I think every saints fan would love to see Lallana and Ramirez causing havoc amaingst premier league full backs?!
Since NC took the reigns, the club has had nothing but ambition! Ambition which has been verified in the last few seasons. So a signing this big is possibly not too far off the mark?
We'll just have to wait and see.
