It's early days to suggest any real possibility of us finishing in a European spot of course however it's already apparent that this might be the most competitive season of the Premier League for all clubs aside from Chelsea. Home form will be key and with Man City, United, Tottenham, Everton and Liverpool having already lost a portion of this in comparison to Saints, Arsenal, Villa and Swansea it should hopefully keep things mixed in those top end league places.

The most remarkable thing is how quickly Koeman has got the players gelled together, and no doubt another level of team performance is yet to come. Likewise it's been interesting to hear so many other managers say that they're new players may take weeks yet to adapt to the league, which ultimately can only benefit us more when we play them.

I was thinking about how quickly the team has gelled, and it is very impressive. It does go to show how important it is to get players in at the beginning of the transfer window, since Pelle and Tadic have clearly settled already.

It also helps that they are quality players. Well done RoKo!

Not a rumour but I think someone should highlight the incredible effort by Franny Benali over the past few weeks - running the equivalent of 36 marathons, almost 1000 miles!

I feel like the media (SSN bar le tiss, BBC etc. ) haven't given this anywhere near enough publicity and would just like to state that you can still donate by texting BIGR55 followed by the amount you want to donate, eg £5, to 70070.
Benali is a true saint, let's do him proud.

I must admit that seeing Benali at the stadium lead me to have a few tears in my eyes. Huge effort from a true Saint!

I even emptied my wallet in the Franny Bucket, and couldn't buy myself a beer at half time!

According to the daily blar Man City want either Jay Rod or JWP to replace the outgoing Milner, and Newcastle are hoping to replace Pardew with Ronald Koeman.

Good luck to both of the clubs if you ask me, but try looking somewhere sensible
