Rather than rumors of who will sign for Saints, I'd be more concerned about the number of players who get offers but shy away from Southampton.
Unfortunately the Management there are not highly thought of. When ever Saints bid, if there's other clubs bidding you"ll always be last in line.
Sorry to disappoint but truth is:
1) Danny Rose won't be there. Your having a laugh even dreaming that one.
2) Jack Cork won't be there. He's talking to 3 clubs but not yours.
3) Lua LUa won't be there. He signs Monday/Tuesday at Brighton and is already on a pre - agreement with them.
4) Glenn Murray laughed at Saints and went to Palace. That said it all.
5) OX Chambelain is not as good as you believe hence no bids yet and no silly prices like the 10 mill you all believe.
6) Lallana will be leaving Saints but not for the silly 6 mill you claim, he's rated at 2 mil at best, both Norwich and QPR lead the way on that one.
7) you thought Michael Owen was coming - Laughable ?

No decent signigs yet, you are all dilusional about your chances this season. Completely over estimating your current squad, three of whom won't even be with you soon, and completely under estimating the quality of the Championship this season. Harder than ever to survive this league in 2011/12 and definately won't be seeing Saints in the top 6 with the squad you will have come August.

Saints are good enough 2 be in top 6
cork will come and lallana will stay, Y would we want glen murray he's a diving t**t, danny rose may come but i doubt it, don't care about lua lua, will also sign pilkinton, peliter, mills and cox on loan, brighton will just survive

That's horses**t. Chambo will be better than walcott and lallana can be an average premier league player, he tore the championship up last time. we don't want LuaLua or Glenn Murray. Both are shi*e. Jack Cork will come.

Perhaps you should spend a little more time thinking about your own team and spend a little less time concerning yourself with ours. I couldn't care less about whether we have a big name manager or not. In fact, we've an up and coming manager who is bringing togetherness amongst the squad. We may lose AOC, we may not but how the eff do you know eh!? We've got one of the best youth teams in the land, state of the art facilities with fantastic potential for blooding more stars of the future. Seriously, you're talking absolute s**t fella. As for Lallana, the guy is Saints through and through. If clubs bid for him then Saints won't be held to ransom. There are only a handful of teams in the Championship who want to play football the right way and Saints are one of them. I think we have as good a chance as anyone else in this league. I can't see anyone walking away with it. Personally I don't think we'll get automatic promotion but we'll be in the mix for the top six. As for the players we've supposedly gone in for, there are no facts, only message/debate boards like this. If you've got anything sensible to say then say it, if not, eff off back down the M27 you tard.

Another bitter jealous idiot. . The only thing I agree with is Chamberlain is not really worth £15m. But when you are a rich and powerful club, you can ask what you like. . No doubt if he was at a small club like Brighton or Portsmouth, he would be gone in a flash for peanuts.

If Lallana is worth no more than £2m, Messi's worth about £10m. I believe he was head and shoulders above the league 1 players and he'll be the best player in the Championship. Watch this space. . with envy :)

Go cry in your half empty little rabbit hutch

Agreed Chamberlain is not worth £15 million, I think a lot of these figures have been made up by journalists for stories.
However I very much disagree with Lallana being worth £2 million at best, IMHO he was by far the best player in league 1, absolutely tore up defences.

Danny Rose to Southampton to gain experience ? Eh. Dream on mate. he's been playing Premier Lge football for quite a while, highly rated, would get a good move to any Premier Lge club, I don't think there's any experience to be had dropping down a Lge to a small time shed outfit like Southampton ?
