Joan Laporta, if he is elected as president at Camp Nou in 2016 has basically nailed his colours to the Dutch management style - who could that be then??
OK, you read it here first. Koeman to Barca for 2016/17 season.
Sorry FU2 but I posted this a month ago when Chrisdownj was fretting about him going for the Dutch National job. I also think he said to spider wait 18 months and join a proper big club like Barca not the wannabee chickens from NW 7. You are right his next stop is Barca then Holland.
Chrisdownj I can't believe you could think Ron would leave after we spent the summer trying to convince the masses he would not only save us but improve us. As I said in a summer post the Dutch do not lie and they do not talk rubbish. Ron is a class act and we should enjoy while he is here. Next stop for him is Barcelona in two to three years. Meanwhile I hope today is going to stop all doubters fretting and we all start to enjoy our team again - 8-0 was not a fluke - everyone in a red and white shirt was outstanding. Can't wait for motd to see it again.

Just in response to what you have said RoKo was pretty annoyed he was not considered for the national job at the time it was given to Hiddink. The financial implications of being your country's head coach are immense, I am not saying Ronald is not an honourable man but if offered the job it would probably be only the once. I am not sure after long consideration that he might not still take it. I personally don't think he will leave Saints before the end of the season. However there have been many so called totally dedicated managers that basically felt that the honour of representing their nation as first team coach is too attractive to turn down. I am not saying it will happen but it might, disagree all you want but it is just my opinion but if you look at the record books over time you may see what I am saying has more than just a touch of credibility.
OK you read it here second.
