just found this, says damaiao may snub spurs for saints what you think? could it be true?

According to sources no bid has actually been made by either Southampton or Spurs of his services and his club aren't exactly wanting rid of him.

The whole article is written by a saints fan and based very little fact. It's not saying he would snub spurs for saints, just saying what if. Plus it's making out that we like to cause a little trouble in the transfer market seemingly as a smoke screen.

According to a source I have in the club so far this window we have attempted several £15million+ deals, finally one of which is expected to actually go through. My source declined to give away a name but said he was a highly rated striker and they were hoping they could wrap up the deal in time for the camp in Spain which could mean we have to wait quite a while still before the deal comes through.

I don't think anyone has any 'sources' within SFC, stories around shirt leaks, collapsed player/ sponsorship deals suggests that when 'unofficial news' does come out of St Mary's NC goes bat s**t crazy Sicilian style.

I hope we add cover to our team through the championship with English players, spend a bit more on a Winger who should be good enough to rotate with our current wingers and then spend big on a striker, I don't see DM as a priority as we have Cork, Shneiderlin, Davies and Prowse. So I reckon Arron Cresswel 2.5m (Ipswich, 23 has had a good season starting a lot of games), Adam Henley 3m (Blackburn, 19 can play RB or LB made 22 appearances for Blackburn last season good potential) then as for a winger I'd like Scot Sinclair 6-7m and a big money striker, as much as I'd love Dalmio 18m, I don't see it happening for the fee we'd have to pay would be most of our budget, I'd rather get Morrata for 8m or Adrian 7m (as Athletico Madrid might be getting Obsvaldo) or even Bojan would be class, thoughts?

I've always bought the home and away shirts and kept them ever since for memorabilia of the good and bad times. But this time I think I may be boycotting it. Firstly I'm disappointed we haven't gone back to our famed red and white stripes, but not only that, the shirt looks so cheap and nasty.

Really annoyed about it. Hopefully figures will send the message

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I doubt it based on the way it's been selling.

Agree0 Disagree0

More white than last year so i'm happier than I was then

Agree0 Disagree0

Last year's looked good and had a proper badge etc.

I understand the sales tactics changing it to plain red, but to repeat it, makes no sense to me.

Agree0 Disagree0

It doesn't matter about the shirt. its what's in them that matters. Why stress over if the stripes are not in the right place - too short - too long. We are Southampton Fans not fashion experts.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anybody who says its a fashion statement can **** off as its your club identity and history it says were saints not bristol city or joe blogs walking down the street in an adidas training top that costs 13 quid online without the tacky gold iron on badge that will come off when washed. Jesus someone flashes the millions and saints fans bend over and offer up their souls.
