Apparently Parma have set a price of €8 mill for Biabiany. Inter are said to be sniffing. I'd much prefer this guy over Townsend. He has pace by the bucket load and would be a lot less expensive wages and fee. Go get him Ron.

What about Assaidi? Koeman would know all about him, already settled in the league and was brilliant for Stoke who finished 9th, also Liverpool accepted a structured offer of £ 6 million so I think he would make much more sense than the overrated too expensive Townsend

If we don't sign a RB this summer, has anyone else considered Stephens being Clyne's understudy? With Gonzales being a cover for injuries for both RW and RB, which hopefully means a winger will come soon, hopefully Biabiany over Townsend but either is good imo (Correct me if anyone knows about this or has anything else confirmed etc. )

I think McCarthy is better suited to right back having seen him play quite well in that position in pre season.

Koeman prefers Stephens in MF, McCarthy is supposed to be rated higher than Chambers (similar thing to Targett and Shaw) reckon he'll be who we use as backup this season

Does anyone have anything solid about the Gonzales deal? The internet is sayin anywhere between 4 and 8 mil, and people have been saying it may just be a ruse to convince spurs to let Townsend go for a bit less (they want to sell but are holding us to ransom).
He looks a decent player and his versitility might be key.

Don't believe our interest in Gonzales is connected in any way to our interest in a winger. Think RoKo is looking at a few more additions to the squad than he is letting on about, and these two could happen plus a further two (or so), but then do expect some squad players to move on.
