does anyone know when jay rod. is back?
Koeman said in his presser today that he was doing well but not close to returning to training. Sounds like it'll be at least another month before he's training again
Seems to me he has some issues with his recovery post surgery - if his knee swells after light training then its not yet fixed and that's after 9 months - which is a long time with the type of medical care he gets - the best - so i would doubt he plays this season at all. I am not his Dr so its a guess - but i have had 2 major similar surgeries and my last one took from May to Feb until i could play and then i had a lot of pain and swelling until the summer post exercise - so that was about 15 months all in. Good now though.
His Dad tweeted that he is 'fighting fit' in response to some people who had reportedly heard that his patella graft hadn't taken and his career was in jeopardy. Obviously 'fighting fit' means don't worry rather than he'll imminently be back in the team.
