I'd like us to sign some English players, I know our future team will have load cuz of our academy but even so, only 6 of in my opinion our best team are English, (Clyne, Shaw, Cork, Lallana, Puncheon, Lambert) although, I do understand that Pochettino knows the Spanish Market best and we're likely to sign foreign players in this window but hopefully by the summer he'll be looking at good prospects like: Will Hughs, Mason Bennet, Nathan Redmond, John Stones, then slightly older but still with potential Charlie Austen, Fraser Forster, Matt Phillips, Tom Ince, Jake Livermore, Lewis Dunk or maybe Hooper to name a few, just saying there is a lot of young English talent out there too, I don't want us to become a club with hardly any player's from the Country of the club, you'll probably all disagree with me about this, not saying we'll sign all if any but would like us to at least want to sign young English talent, COYR!

I think we will be looking down and around for quality English talent, but not looking specifically to bring more in, especially this month as the price is high.

All our high profile targets seem to be obsessed with Milan!!?? Astori, Biglia, Couthino. Just exactly what is it that Milan has got that Southampton hasn't. I just don't get it?

You are forgetting Forren who has joined us already. But yeah it is an exciting line up, however not sure how likely we are to be able to get all of these players.

In an ideal world another CB would be good. And possibly cover for RB/LB as we are weak in that area if Clyne/Shaw get injured.

I think Biglia is a long shot but Coutinho might happen and if it does I could see Pochettino dropping Cork or Schneiders for a more attack orientated formation:

New keeper possibly Rene Adler or Fernando Muslera ( if we could get one of them lol ), clyne, yoshida, forren, shaw, cork, schneiderlin, coutinho, lallana, ramirez, lambert. In a 4-5-1, I think the pairing of cork and schneiderlin is working well and doesn't need tampering with. The current run we are on coincides with corks return to the team. Biglia would add to competition but I think another CB maybe or CF would be of more use as JWP is in the shadows hoping to push thru into the team.

I agree. Cork has been superb this season and is a bit of an unsung hero. He and Schneiderlin have formed a great understanding in the middle. They are both ball winners and don't give teams time to settle into a rhythm.

Totally on another wavelength did you see Cassillas play in goal for Espanyol at the weekend, he was outstanding . Need a RELIABLE keeper. He was brilliant.

Good, not sure we want any Espanyol players really. As for other rumours we are apparently in talks with a few la Lisa clubs over certain players and in for Coutinho although not sure how much for. Rumours are saying though that Liverpool have sent a representative to Milan to try to push forward a deal to sign Coutinho though so that's worrying.

Do you think it will be accepted, do Inter want more and will Liverpool offer more? {Ed001's Note - Liverpool are likely to up their offer, but I don't think they are likely to reach an agreement. It could just be that I have a huge lack of faith in Ian Ayre, I have no idea how that man still has a job with Liverpool! I believe Southampton will be the team to reach an agreement, they seem to be the most keen of all the teams interested.}
