Love how everyone's already on Pelle's back after one bad game and his second competitive match for the club, he played well against Liverpool and has apparantly won more areal duels than any other PL player, plus give him time to adapt we all new it would be a slow start due to the amount of new players in the team, when we've settled I think we could be as good if not better than last year especially if we get Townsend and Anderwield, both would be top signings, £6m for Anderwield is a real coup. Maybe overpaying for Townsend but he would also be a top signing and if we can't get him Redmond would also be ideal. The signs are there and we are looking pretty good at times, defensive solidarity has been good too, COYR!!!!

Thank goodness its not me!! I thought he looked a bit static at times but for someone who has played a total of two games in the epl, he showed potential. Certainly got better as the games went on and was really trying to find space. I think the service could be better but again that is something that comes with time and knowing each other.
I find it staggering that so many people expect him to jump straight in knowing the game here. I was pleased that he was getting frustrated when he couldn't get the service. Shows he will want to improve
If we are still struggling in a few months I'll eat my hat but I like the idea of having someone who is good at snatching goals in the middle of defence.
My only concern for the wba game is that because they defended with 11 men we just couldn't break it down and lacked a bit of creativity in trying to do that.
