I feel we need new left and right wingers and we should play Lallana in more of a CAM role and sign possibly peter whittingham, matt jarvis, matty phillips or thomas ince, also think schneiderlin will prove his worth next season as i have allot of faith in him, only thing is he will have to start scoring more goals...

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I completely agree with this although schneiderlin is a hold midfeilder i dont care about the goals cause hes a great playmaker in the middle

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't mind seeing whittingham, Jarvis, once or Phillips tbh but I do agree that we need a pacey winger

To all saints fans, if we did build a new stadium at some point in the next five years i would like to know what you would call it? because we will build a new one as it has been discussed with Southampton council, so what would you call it?

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Were it to happen it wouldnt be a complete re-build, just an expansion of three of the stands!

Agree3 Disagree0

We would build a new one. its only 10 years old. would still be st marys at the same location. we would expand ! we will remain there for at least our lifetimes now

Have you seen the DVD for the season ticket fans? If not it will just be st Mary's extended or completely changed. Extended or replaced but the, same location

"Have you seen the DVD for the season ticket fans? If not it will just be st Mary's extended or completely changed. Extended or replaced but the, same location" you can't stay in the same place while building new stadium if your building it in the same place! you would have to build the stadium in a different place while still playing in the stadium we are in now! and we are going to as we will have build a new stadium if you want to be a big team, besides he is right they do want to build a new stadium from what i gather they have said in the 5 year plan! if you were a proper saints fan you would know that we're we have our stadium its not in a prim location! and if they did build new stands it would take years as they would have to close other stands in order to build on it! which will lose them money as half the number they could get wont be able to go to the games because stand which they are adding on to will be shut. also in order to stay in the premier league they need at least 32.000 fans each game! and if they close a stand they lose money which isn't good for a premiership team! and NC wants to make us a big team from training ground up! So think logically they will have to build a new stadium because its the cheaper and saves them having to close half the stadium, which in turn keeps money coming in while building a new stadium in a better location! its not a good location as no motor way which is close you have to park miles away! and walk at least half a mile to the stadium before getting there! any real saints fan knows the traffic after a game is just plain stupid it takes 1 and half to get out of Southampton at the most! the stadium is nice! don't get me wrong but think like NC would and you'll see its best way forward for us he cant risk losing numbers fans by closing a stand in the premier league its just not a good thing to do while in the premier league if you think about it! and if you think about it right its not a quick job to do add a new stand on to the old stands, especially with the numbers he is hoping to get at Saint Mary's which will be in the 50-60 thousands!!

You can play in the same stadium whilst a new one is being build at same location.. tottenham were planning it 2 or 3 years ago. they were going to build around white hart lane (but doing one half 1st, then doings the 2nd part) its easliy done
