anyone else find it strange how for 2 seasons running we've had a dodgy run at pretty much the same point of the season, ended that run (hopefully) with a great performance at home to Arsenal at pretty much the same point in the season and in both games our right back has scored a worldie?

Not really it is actually quit funny to see the stars of our squad pull there fingers out against the top 4 clubs to get a move then anyone from 5th down we struggle to bring any points away.

Fair play to oxlade chamberlain for clapping the home supporters I thought that was a nice touch!

A fantastic team effort from the boys last night and fully deserved.
Let's hope that that puts all the Koeman doubters back in their holes as that has to be one of the managerial performances of the season. He got the tactics spot on and the players followed his demands to a tee.
Cuco Martina at right back took his opportunity not only with his wonder strike but his overall game nullified the Arsenal left flank ( brilliant ) .
Let's hope that we can now push on from this, add a couple of signings in January, as they are still required, and make a push for a European spot again. Nothing is impossible this season!

When he first came, I thought that Cuco bloke had won a competition. Now he becomes the first CuraƧao international to score in the Barclays Premier League! #turntheboataround.

What do you lot all think of Juanmi? I think he looks like he deserves more of a chance.

I particularly liked the beard he was sporting!

Agree, I think Juanmi is a decent player and should get more playing time, good passing and distribution and apparently a nice beard too.

Juanmi seems like one of those frustrating Gaston types to me. Has all the talent in the world but there's one massive thing that let's them down - with Gaston it's his injury proneness and with Juanmi it's how lightweight he is on the ball

his beard is a lot better than gaston's hair though.

When our academy train home grown players it works but any good young player brought in from abroad . our board and coaching staff ruin them they don't understand there football culture. mayuka, Ramirez, forren, osvaldo, de ridder, the list goes on and on .
But other PL teams seem to be able to buy a player from abroad and get the best out of them
And does anyone know why we didn't buy Antonio when he was here on loan he played a big part in JPT tournament but here we are a few years later in the prem and he scores agaist us for west ham.
