Lambert has to be one of the best all round strikers in the prem. He should get an england call up in febuary how does andy carrol and welbeck get in front of him.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

I think Lambert is better off uncapped for England. It's a lot of pressure and an extra distraction from the club.

Agree9 Disagree1

Unrealistic fans again ! lambert is good for us not really for anyone else in the prem apart from maybe reading he is no where near one of the best all round strikers in the prem

Agree2 Disagree4

Unrealistic fans? No, generally pretty knowledgeable-look at his assist record as well as his goals and tell me who can better him?
There are some "persons" who come on here without any knowledge of what they are talking about, and still think they are smart.

These are the type of points we could well regret losing at the end of the season, we have got to learn how to be more resolute and control a winning situation dropping two points against ten men and looking like we were lucky to end up with a draw is not good enough !

Believable9 Unbelievable2

We played a very strong Stoke side and before the match I bet you'd have taken a draw. I know it's frustrating losing the 2 goal advantage but Stoke were very impressive and the last goal wasn't really down to poor defending it was just an absolute wonder strike.

Agree5 Disagree1

Why the .... are we back with guly again, total horse rubbish, Jos bottled last challenge for Jerome goal and Davis should've done better with 2nd, don't get me wrong wouldve been happy with a point at start but the 3 positions we desperately need let us down again, we will go down and it will b by points we've chucked away

Agree2 Disagree8

Why the .... Did you comment? Guly played out his skin today down that left side, Davis could maybe have been in a better position but when a shot is low and so close to his feet, it's a bloody hard save to make and hooiveld didn't play great but he done a job there. We have no one else at the minute, so we just have to get behind the team more when we play with the likes of Richardson, Hooiveld, Guly and Fox. They need our support not our criticism.

Agree10 Disagree0

We had to play players like Guly and Hooiveld due to the tiredness and knocks taken over the busy period around this time of year. With Lallana, Ramirez, Clyne and Richardson all out we still had to name a side. He named I think the best one available for us. Perhaps we would have benefitted by seeing more of Mayuka or Ramirez off the bench but a draw at the Britannia with a weakened squad is an incredible feat.

Agree5 Disagree1

Yeah I may have reacted too soon about ny above comments, but I'm a massive saints fan like most on here but I was so angry/disappointed in result, esp as guly in fact could of wrapped game up, as I stated would've been happy with draw. Unfortunately my views on guly will not change he isnt pl standard or is championship standard and cannot believe he got new contract without proving his worth, in a way our last half of this premier season will defined by what nc/na does in transfer window, let's hope its productive

Agree0 Disagree2

Cannot beleive the Guly comment, ok fair enough I wasn't happy at him starting, or Jos for that matter but it made sence to rotate the squad, and put in 2 bigger players to deal with the physical battle, and Guly played brilliantly, unfortunate about the open goal he missed but still played very well, I think we should've won but we still got a good point and scored 3 good goals, bring on Arsenal!

Agree3 Disagree1

When on form Guly is a fantastic player and he showed class today. Unfortunately he is only on form 1 in 5 or so games, but that dosn't justify fans booing him, as above poster says we should get behind our team. Good point today.

Agree5 Disagree0

Do the disgraceful whingers on this site, waffling on about Guly actually watch him, or just make blind comments? His performance yesterday was certainly Premiership class. Don't just look at the goal he missed (Lambert missed also), what about the cross for our first goal-that was real class.
And what you seem to forget, how much match time has he got this season in the first team-very little. Yet you expect him to come straight into the team and play like Pele!

Agree5 Disagree2

Another 2 points lost
how many more times this
season
poor defence again

Agree1 Disagree5

Another 2pts dropped, ah and guly again, ...... along come the guly believers ......... so he had a hand in 4pts dropped in last 2 games
