17 days untill the start of the season and it looks like we could be facing Citeh with Jos and Fonte in the heard of defence. Now I am starting to panic.

If no cb's sign by sunday i will be to! I think fonte and hoovield will be ripped apart by city hope not though
They are 2 decent centre backs, they play great together.. man utd have rio and vidic, chelsea have terry and luiz, we have jos and fonte. im not worried one bit - chris

I'm sure Adkins is getting a Centre Back he has mentioned he wants to get one in I'm sure he'll do it.
Jos will be fine. Not sure on Jose in to many of the big games last term he went missing prime example both reading games. Of course this is only my opinion and im sure they are working hard behind the scenes to get the req players in. just a shame it is taking so long
Clyne is a RB. Thats the harse world of the prem not everyone that will get you there can actually cut it at the next level. It happened from league one and needs to happen again. Players who in my opinion are not good enough; Fonte, Richardson, Fox (defending), Chaplow, Guly, Sharp will be out of his depth against the bigger teams. I'm not a doubter of NA but just being realistic
I think you're wrong about Sharp he is a very talented lad. Fox is also quite good just need to motivate him better before games. He just isn't quite committed 100%. I reckon you've under-rated Guly a bit he has some spectacular moments. Chaplow, Richardson and Fonte possibly should be sold. However they are reasonable as reserves for the main squad.
Jos was outstanding last season, being a season ticket holder, i saw how confident he was on and off the ball. Fonte on the other hand was making more mistakes but stayed confident. Yes, we need a CB, but Fonte and Hooiveld will do us a solid job through the season. You dont need to panic.
