Dear un-named users:

Please stop with all of these Ginsters jokes about Wanyama; that joke was never funny in the first place.

Thank you

Not very funny that it looks like our £12m summer signing appears to have piled the pounds on while out injured despite him being on full pay.
I for one am not amused!

See our troll is still on Victor's case!

Funny that he is not getting the blame for not tracking the run and allowing the second goal-should have been able to do it from the bench as he cost so much!

And before we have another rant about how good Jack is, I note he achieved the lowest rating across the press for his performance.

Just goes to prove they are both good players and both have off days IMO.

Press ratings mean nothing

You will be too young to remember the true specialist at piling on the pounds-Le Tiss! And that was when he was playing!

If you don't want to give Vic a break, that is up to you, but your constant whinging about him is starting to make you look a bit of a "person" and well supported by the fact you haven't the guts to put your name to your posts. We will have to find one that suits-like the English teacher I recall many years ago who was a keen angler, so he became known as Master "Baiter". Something similar, but perhaps a bit snappier may be appropriate.

Kinda funny how you can pretty much guarantee everyone bashing Wanyama's weight are 20+ stone themselves

Agree0 Disagree0

Victor's agent! We've missed you, not so much your lump xxx

Agree0 Disagree0

Only my opinion but my evaluation of recent purchases:
Gaston £12m over priced, not done it
Jrod £7m, worth double now
Osvaldo £14m flipping joke
Lovren £6/7m worth x3 now
Vic £12m over rated, over priced and over weight
Go back in time and what did we pay for: Spider, Rickie, Cork, Fonte, Clyne, Boruc. Plus the freebies. Adam, Luke etc

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats wrong with people having an opinion on vic, good or bad we will always support team so instead of people getting on there high horses take it as banter like the site is for, I for 1 am a anti vic yeah that might change but he is poor and now even worse as he has obviously put on pounds after injury, as it is he is a liability with our fast moving pressing game he is 2yrds behind the pace and often gets caught in possession or made to hit hospital pass, this is fact, yes I know he's young, had 1 good game against barca, learning the epl but we really should be seeing improvement

Agree0 Disagree0

Why does StM think everyone who disagrees with his view of Wanyama must be a troll?

Re Wanyama's weight, a little bird told me that he doesn't like Ginsters at all but one of the other Saints players keeps putting 6 sugars and full fat milk in his tea. He also keeps sprinkling muscle bulk powder on Vic's Special K at breakfast.
Vic does like his fruit deep fat fried though

Frankly I've had enough of being caught out by the huge gaps that Shaw leaves on his flank when he's late tracking back. However his attacking commitment and efficiency is superb. This might sound crazy. Do you think we could play yoshida on the left flank (he's played there before) and allow shaw to move higher up the field? Imagine if we could have shaw double his attacking workrate without having to worry too much about tracking back!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Perhaps you should tell Mopo.

Yes Shaw leaves gaps when he charges down the flanks, as does any wing-back. That's the flaw in the system.

The key is for other players to step into the gap, which generally happens e.g Cork dropping into CD, while Lovren goes to the flank.

Every system has flaws. it's how as a team you manage them, and down to the opposing team to exploit them.

Agree0 Disagree0

Shaw can attack just as well as he defends I always thought he would make a great left midfield player like bail did as long as we got in a decent left back (taggart) thoughts?

the only difference between us and Liverpool today was quality upfront. For a lot of the game we were well on top. 3-0 was very harsh. If we could convert the chances into goals we'd probably be in the top 4 right now.

People moaning about us having a weak squad? We have a fantastic first 11 (8 of them have played at some form of international level). yeah, we probably only have 14 players at most who can play at this level every week at the moment but where were we 4 years ago? 3 years ago we lost 1-0 away to Walsall. we almost completely disappeared 5 years ago ffs. Quality squads take time to build - be patient, this season was always a building block towards next season, we we're never going to win anything this season. By all means shoot for the stars but don't bitch and moan about us not being there just yet.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The only thing we are missing is the 20 goal a season striker that our midfield creativity is crying out for!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Clyne would have given us something different yesterday. Chambers had a good performance defensively but Glen Johnson stopped much of the attacking play on the right wing. For the first five minutes of the second half Gaston looked a real threat as part of our attack, but then after that our front 4 players faded. First half Lallana got space in between the lines but second half Gerrard man-marked him and we lost his influence. Rodriguez, Lallana and Ramirez didn't rotate positions to create problems which is the main reason we lost our way. Overall some of our attacking play was sublime across the match but it's our lack of clinical finishing which costs us and it's been that way since the start of the season in reality. If we go all the way back to when we played Norwich we dominated the game but couldn't win it. So the question is how does the team resolve it for next season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Quality up front? That covers the same front 3 that have been called up to England yes?

Agree0 Disagree0

We bought an Italian that the manager believed in to score us the goals that would make us a TOP TEAM, but he turned out to be a proper plank. So did the manger get that one wrong?
Gaston was Adkins £12m down the drain, Vic is actually worth about £1.5m at best and that's if he loses 2 stone and stays off the Ginsters.
Lovren is worth double what we paid.
Only my opinion of course but I recon there's a few PL managers who agree.
Malkay Makay was the only other PL manager interested in Vic and.
A. He offered less
B. We all know what Cardiff's owner thought of Malkay's spending!
Some high ranking people within the club have been very disappointed with last summers two biggest buys, very, very reliable source

Have you seen what odds England are to win the World Cup?
In fact check what odds ther are to get out of the group.
Come on England. derr
