Although I think we are week in a lot of areas (all but strikeforce) we have developed such a hard working and unified squad that it would be a shame to dilute that with too many new signings. Fine balance.
I'd certainly like to see GK, attacking mid, RB 1st team replacements but add them to Rodriguez (is surely will be first choice alongside Lambo) and still we have approx one third of a new first team. Tricky one.

Sky sports has said this evening that werder bremans polish international Sebastian Boenisch is available on a free after rejecting a new contract. a host of premier leauge clus are intrested in the left/right back including Southampton, Everton, Reading and Newcastle

i think we need a new cb maybe sum1 like simon kjaer. a new gk butland please but i cant believe they rejected 6m!! a rb sum1 like martin kelly? and a new midfielder that can play cam cm rm lm basiclly all rounder that can get goals. then we will be ready

I'm hopeful a signing will be revealed tomorrow. Usually Adkins and cortese do business early but there's no doubt players are needed. This is a list of players that I wouldn't mind at saints ( within reason)
Butland or Craig Gordon

Scott dann, Zak night, Matt upson and maybe hangeland

Tom ince, Matt Phillips, Matt Jarvis, whittingham, Steven Davis, michu,

Gary hooper and Steven fletcher

Imo if I had to close 5, I'd choose Butland, hangeland, Scott dann, Matt Jarvis and Steven Davis. Thoughts?

Saints fans arguing against saints fans oh dear i thought we stood together but obv not, its a kit forget that and follow our team and stand together like we are supposed to! and i'm looking forward to showing people what the Southampton way! really is! so lets stop bitching to each other and actually do what our slogan says " together we stand" and lets Make sure everyone of these top premier league teams knows that we arnt going to back down easily for once and stop arguing FFS :L
