Wellington Nem is a great player, and I've heard his name mentioned a few times, but how do u know that he has had contact with cortèse?
News has pointed to conversations between the two and family of Nem have mentioned communication with Cortese in Brazilian media. (I have a friend currently living and working in Brazil).

Reading have already got a signing to be made in Daniel Carrico, Connolly has gone to Pompey. Players will happily move to these sides. Especially when they are with quite a likelihood of Survival like Southampton with teams above struggling for results even worse.

I said struggling for results even worse than us. Saints only have been beaten twice in the last 9. Doesn't sound like relegation form. Where as Aston Villa for example have 3 consecutive defeats having shipped 15 goals without scoring.
He said teams above us not below, and the fact that you think soton have been doing well makes it even worse as you are still bottom 3. Villa have been s**t but will pick up when they get some players back , wigan are a very good side and will finish mid table
Southampton have become so much of a better side. They are now looking good enough to climb the table. If you think of the catching up they managed after their initial 10 games you'll realise just how good saints have been. That sort of form and squad strength normally wouldn't lead to relegation.

Off to sunderland or back to everton
Man City will not loan Lescott to any side with a chance of a Champions League finish. So if he does go out on loan it will be to the likes of Sunderland etc.

I've heard Wellington Nem's name mentioned a few times. I'm not saying we will sign him, but I think someone of his ability (pace and skill) is the missing link at saints. Apart from obviously a keeper and CB I think we need someone who can run at defenders. Would also mean we have strength in the wide areas :)
