With the African Cup of Nations going to be given the go ahead for Jan 17 - anyone know if Big Vic, Mane and Mayuka have qualified and will go?
I don't know, but what I do know is that loosing Victor and Mane is going to be bad news. Mane looks like an excellent buy, and Victor - well Victor has looked superb recently. Are the Victor doubters still in the house? I remember last year that a lot of fans seemed to be moaning about Wanyama every week. This lad has built on his strengths, and has improved his weaknesses. His passing recently has been superb, as has his concentration. Victor is starting to look like one of the best defensive midfielders in the league.
Whatever happens, if they go to the ACoN, Saints will miss our African contingent greatly.

Evening guys,
Wanyama plays for Kenya and they got knocked out by Lesotho in the qualification rounds back in August so he'll be with you.
Senegal are in 2nd place, a point above Egypt in their group with two games to go so Mane may well be there.
I guess you'll have Jrod back so may not be to painful.
Great start by you guys and as an Arsenal fan felt Clynne was unlucky not to play for England and Hodgson was a bit of a nugget for playing Chambers ahead of him, love Chambers but just think Clynne deserved his chance.
No idea where you'll end up this season but I personally hope it's a great one for you.

Just a quick one to anybody looking in on this site who doesn't have a ticket for Saturday. There are less than 200 seats left for sale and most of these are dotted around as singles, the only section where you can get 2 together is in 43 but got a feeling they will be gone by tonight. Get yourself a half season ticket and you will be part of a new era at SFC.

Sell out for Leicester this Saturday so got a feeling the half season tickets will be flying out the door as well. There are going to be a lot of disappointed people not being able to get a ticket for a few weeks now as all games will be sold out quickly until January due to the big club fixtures. Should have trusted the board in the summer and showed true support, it's your own fault for doubting them.
It think Leicester is only sold out for loyalty points to buy tickets for the bigger games.
I can't make it to most games because my job requires me to work evenings and weekends, so I can't pick and choose fixtures. I generally can't get a ticket on a Saturday i'm available, because it's a bigger game, and I haven't been to a lesser fixture earlier in the season.
Just because I can't attend every game, doesn't mean I'm a lesser supporter.
There needs to be a better system for ticket sales which weans out the Manc and Liverpool fans who all pile in to watch them and not the saints.
We all know it happens, I have several mates who (are Liverpool fans, and) will buy a ticket for a bronze match and not turn up, so they can qualify to buy for their team, but as a home fan.

I understand your problem Jim and there are many like you out there. I know it would be totally against the rules for purchasing a season ticket but could you not get one and allow a friend, family or colleague to use it on the days you can't make it and they pay you pro-rata for the matches they attend. By doing this you would then be able to ( being a season ticket holder ) buy tickets more easily for the matches your co-season ticket owner can't see when you need it. I know that its rule breaking but why couldn't SFC have a system where you could say have three named users for which identification could be shown to prove their connection to you. Let's face it a lot of people use other peoples season tickets when they can't make it. Not a perfect solution but it may help you get to the games more easily.
