Seems ridiculous that there are genuinely so many rumours that we could have a whole extra squad with these signings. Frankly I hope we don't take more than 8 in the summer. I can see the need to bring in some more flair for options but this idea of 15 outs with potentially 15 replacements seems too much to me, could wind up with QPR syndrome then.
(QPR syndrome symptoms may include players messing about, not caring about how their club gets on and genuinely having team chemistry worse than that of a recently formed Sunday league side).

Aye, but that's just a false equivalence that rumours=signings. Not every player a club is linked to will sign for them, but that doesn't mean their isn't potential interest. I imagine the clubs list of players they are interested in is is actually far longer then that, but when it comes down to the crunch of actually signing a player, they select the best of them.
