Ince for 3 mill? Forster for 4? don´t think you´ve got much idea of player prices

Ince is in his last year of contract so will go cheaply or for free in the summer, ok Forster is possibly a bit under priced and would probably be more like 6-7m worth though IMO

Hopefully we play Chambers, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw across the back tomorrow in front of Gaz, then have Cork and Davies playing DM, with Jay, Lallana and Ward Prowse ahead of them with Ricky leading the line or Obsvaldo who was impressive against Villa but I'd still rather see Ricky start apparantly Gaston is back from injury so may be a good time for him to come back into the squad due to all the injuries, luckily most our forwards are ok, I think we can win 3-2 as Man City are still dodgy away from home COYR!

A lot of previous rumours about ramirez departing in january either sold or on loan however I think that outlook is about to change with the sudden & bizarrely long injury list. Its going to be a long six weeks for sure & ramirez is probably going to be thrust back into the first team. I hope he seizes this chance to prove everyone wrong. what's other saints fans thinking?

we are in need of a goal keeper. so why didn't we try our luck and grab julio ceaser on a 3 month loan from QPR. not playing a game and i'm sure he would grab a move back to premiership with both hands, quality keeper

Okay it now looks like we have eight players out for tomorrows game.

Who thinks it's a good idea to play our kids against Man City?

I don't, we have around 13 decent players capable of a top half finish then the rest are improving kids or players just there to make up the numbers.

Looks like MoPo may even be forced to start Gaston so I hope he takes his chance with both hands.

Man City will be fielding individual players that cost more than our entire squad, and people are saying we don't need to buy anyone in January to qualify for Europe!? Reality check time
