Hi I've just realised if lallana was going to leave why would he get this massive child's play area in his garden?
Ed what do you think about this?!

{Ed003's Note - Not a lot - I'm sure he is wealthy enough to have 2 homes.}

I may be wrong but don't a lot of player's live a distance from their clubs. I seem to remember us having a player a few years ago who was flown down for training etc each week.

As Ed said. Maybe he will rent this out or rent/buy a place closer to training

Agree0 Disagree0

Pointless questions.

Agree0 Disagree0

He will probably move his mum and dad in they only live down the road, said it before if a player wants to go he will go, and the club moves on

Steve Bruce on a six man shortlist with the next manager to be announced by the end of next week. Steve Bruce IMO wouldn't be my first choice.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Although not my first choice either we could do worse. Seems to get best out of most pIayers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't be to worried, think the papers are just making it up as they go along now but if he is onit reckon he will be number 6

To be honest if they were going to chose koeman to be the new manager they would have done it by now, there is something which they can't agree on, I may be wrong but I may also be right

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Possibly waiting until the world cup starts to announce it so the rumour mill doesn't start up again

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah hopefully appoint him when media attention is all over the World Cup and we can go about our business quietly and confidently

Saints holding many interviews for the vacant post, hence the fluctuating odds with the bookies, every time a manager is approached, lands at the airport or enquires then they become prominent in the market. Only the board will actually know when they have finished speaking with every interested party. They want to make certain they get the right guy, so the media, bookies, fans, you, me and ed02 can speculate all we like! I have faith in the board, whoever gets the job will do us proud.
Come on you reds
Up the saints
Southampton till I die

{Ed002's Note - I think you will find that I will go out of my way to avoid speculation wherever I can.}

Quite clear it will be Koeman unless so their is a monumental change in the bookie odds

I think he may be the forerunner, but I doubt its as clear cut as that.
When it comes to the vague speculation, I seem to remember a certain boat being seen in southampton waters a few years ago lol.

Interresting note from saints last meeting with Koeman

He wants to continue the tradition of developing young home grown players from the academy. But one player he has expressed interest in looking at is Jack Rodwell.

Saints tried to sign Jack a few years back before he went to city so he has been on our radar for a while.

The interresting part though is that he see's him a great centre back partner for lovren. Now Koeman is known for playing out from the back & it has been suggested over the years that Rodwell will end up in that position.

Theres no word yet if this deal is possible but it is one of many options they are exploring.

Would also make sense as Fonte's in the dog house, so will most likely be on his way out.

What's he in the dog house for rocket?i think we could get Rodwell he can't be happy at city but won't his wages be massive?

Agree0 Disagree0

What's Fonte done? Thrown his toys as his contract is up in 12 months?

Agree0 Disagree0

Fonte is still in the doghouse from his part in the Osvaldo stuff

Can't believe some of the deluded people on here, anybody who thinks KL is going to spend millions of her own money on player's, even if we do sell Shaw and Lallana which it looks likely need to get real, we already owe them millions, don't think for one minute she will right it off! because she won't! we were just her fathers hobby. why do you think she's got rid of Cortese.

Judging by your log in nMe I'm guessing you do this on every other page

Lunacy troll.
They bought the club for next to sweet FA, loaned the club some, which we paid back, then we hit the prem. We, as most clubs do, owe some for previous transfer deals but the sale of Shaw would clear that debt. We have 70m of TV revenue from last season plus a guarantee of another 60m this year, the club is now worth over 5 times the 30m Marcus paid for it, as a business we have never been stronger. kL will invest in youth. Purchases will likely be developing English talent, as j-rod was, as was Clyne. Ings, ince, butland, Sinclair, caulker, Redmond, will Hughes, are the kind of players I expect us to be hitting up. We are looking to employ a manager who shares this ethos, developing youth, sound business, creating stability, playing offensive creative football.
