what does everyone think about Tadanari Lee? I think he has a lot of talent, he looked very good in the championship and has never really had a chance in the prem, I recall people saying "he's oozing with talent" and that "he'll be starting with Ricky next year" or do we reckon sell and move on, as it's obviously a risk giving him a chance?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He's heading out the door it seems. He's lost so much of his talent due to his injury and now barely makes the main team for Tokyo. I can't see him actually regaining his place in our team which is a shame because he had such great potential.

Agree0 Disagree0

He came here Hyped up, but with the exception of his wonder goal, I never really saw any sign that he showed this exceptional talent. He worked hard, and was very unfortunate with injuries but it appears as though we are trying to signed a different standard of player these days, so don't think we will see any more of Chung!

Agree0 Disagree0

Poch has said he can leave.

He has had a torrid time of it while at Saints with one injury after another, and I wouldn't put it past him wishing to leave.

I know this has probably be said but do or should we go for wanyama now I know he can be a class addition but wot sort of vibe will it send out in the camp he has already turned us down and I no its meant to be coz his agents are meant to be wonting to much but in all truth he is or was holding out for a bigger team and bigger money can blame him its his career but the question is still there should we or not

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Welcome to the spelling and grammar appreciation Saints rumour page!

In answer to your question I do think he will be a great signing and I don't think that if he joins there will be problems in the dressing room.
Football is a money business with very very few players showing any loyalty to there club, and why should they. They are sold around or used as make weights in deals. All the Players understand that.

not taken the mic but I actually can't wait to see wot mayuka, guly, j rod, Ramirez, lallana can do now there settled into the team and prem
shame about lee, de ridder because they both looked hungry just didn't get the opportunity because the pressure the gaffer was under in the championship anyone else feel the same

Southampton 87

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree about Lee although I think there may be injury concerns underlying there.
De Ridder on the other hand is a bit of a one trick pony and was only good as an impact player at best.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mayuka yes
Jay Rod yes
Ramirez yes
Lallana yes

Guly.

hmmm

not so much

Agree0 Disagree0

When De Ridder was on form in the championship he was our best player but he's too inconsistant, other times he looked lazy, I think with a bit of coaching he could be good, Guly can go, but Lee really could be class, I think he should be given a chance and ofcourse I'm bery excited about the others! I think Mayuka could be class too

Agree0 Disagree0

Guly is class, don't insult the man. Some of our fans need to lose their hatred for some players. we will get no where keep knocking them down a peg. Man up and show appreciation!

Agree0 Disagree0

Guly is a decent player but not good enough to push us up the table and is getting on a bit.

De Ridder, as the guy said above was a one trick pony, and never was our best player. Too one footed, can't cross or shoot.

Lee, has had a bad time with injuries and from what I saw of him, except his goal didn't look good enough for the Championship, let alone the Premiership. Again, if we are looking at making the step up, we need to improve.

Jay Rod, started a bit iffy, but towards the end of the season became one of our best players. If he can build on his finishing, he could be a seriously special player.

Lallana, bad season with injuries, don't think anyone can doubt his ability.

Ramirez, a few glimpses of his ability last season, but I am hoping, like Tevez, Ronaldo etc he just needs a season to get used to the premiership and he will come out all guns blazing!

Mayuka, apparently is quite lazy in training sessions, hence his lack of playing time. Hopefully we can turn that around, as we seriously lacked pace last season.

Pablo Osvaldo to have Southampton medical within the next 48 hours regarding previous failures of signing Leandro Damiao as he heads for Napoli

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bulls***. Osvaldo is moving to Athletico Madrid and Napoli want Dzeko not Damiao. Their has been no substance to the Damiao to Napoli rumours just as Poch made clear there was no substance to the Osvaldo to Saints rumours.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would prefer cut price

Agree0 Disagree0

Would prefer cut-price Osvaldo to Damiao. His goal scoring record is outstanding.

Damiao over-rated show pony with terrible scoring record in Brazil.
