Lads, I've just read that if Arsenal, Liverhampton or Manchester Buynited win the FA Cup, there is a Europa League spot for the seventh placed team in the Premier League. Nice little boost for us! We March On.

Not quite true. If Arsenal or Liverpool were to win the FAcup AND qualify for champions league the europa place will go to the runner up in the facup. Obviously not a problem if liverpool play arsenal in the final

Afternoon all. Reading a few posts again I feel torn between what could be and where we are in comparison. We are talking about saints as a contender for champions league football.!? Now after this season I would be disappointed if we didn't. but would rather the team and the fans enjoyed . "the Southampton way" that I'm worried is getting a bit lost. The team and the rumour sites seems to be flooded with players that need career revitalization. in other words a stepping stone to get back to potential. I fear next year will be tough as I think the cut will run deeper than spider and clyne, don't know how Rodriguez will be.(.Owen never really got it back) Toby, big Vic? Now you're looking at a team of these "careers of track" kinda players . Could go one of two ways. hard work and gratitude for the chance or goes missing when things get tough. then what if barca come knocking for koeman? Be happy and enjoy whatever happens
