Wolves rejected west hams 9 million bid, can't see us bidding much higher!!

West ham have bid £9m, but it's an initial fee of £6m + a further £3m in add ons so you never know but does seem unlikely

Wolves have released a statement saying that they have rejected ANOTHER bid for Matt Jarvis. Probably west ham tho

I'm sorry for your misinformation but west ham have not bid 9 million for any player this transfer window, you really need to start getting some facts on this site. {Ed003's Note - Must have been £4.7m and the rest agents fees ;) }

I did hear you offered considerably more than 9 million for Andy Carroll. I believe the bid was in the high teens. Admittedly it was clearly never going to happen cause Carroll views himself too highly but it was a much larger bid than 9 million. (This was confirmed by SkySports and reported on the BBC a few weeks back).

No bid was ever forthcoming, it never got that far, Liverpool approached Carroll about interest from Wet spam and he made it quite clear that he had no intention of going there either via a transfer or a loan and the 19 million pound figure was pure speculation.

He's handed in a transfer request. Depends where he wants to go now

West Ham actually bid on the never never. Hell knows what strings were applied on the Carroll bid in addition to the unlikely outcome of them staying up :D

Heard from a reasonable source on twitter, that Danny rose on loan is "Possible" and we have "registered our interest in him among athlete clubs" And he also said that he can't see Wolves selling Jarvis for £6m. Don't know whether that means we have bid for him or not.

On another note, Id like to see Karim Frei at saints! :)

Mini - i also heard that Rose has 3 clubs interested in him on loan - saints in line to take him first

I think 6m for Javis is a starting price, But strong rumours he's arriving today

Daily Star reporting today Saints on the verge of signing Matt Jarvis for £6mil.

It's true, it's in the Star, but that means nothing. I really hope we do sign him but I've heard west ham have had a bid of £9m rejected. Never say never tho!

West Ham supposed 6 million + 3 million unguaranteed add ons. So if Saints want him they need to get the cheque book out.

The West Ham story isn't true they didn't bid for Jarvis, they've looked at it but they want to look for other players first.

I dont think west ham have increased here bid to £9m, as far as i know they bid £4.5m a while back but wolves were demanding to much so WestHam left it alone, but now that it looks likely that Fletcher is leaving wolves maybe jarvis is doubting the ambitions of the club and the ability to get back to the PL next year and so ants to jump ship.

Who is their most expensive signing of the close season... or have they all been free agents? A lot of talk, bvluff and bluster, buit no cash.
Maybe if West Ham hadn't spent £4.3m on agents fees last season.... Ho ho ho

Southampton are interested in Danny Rose after he was loan listed by AVB.

I think we should jump for Bassong since AVB has said he can go...he's still relatively young and could be what we're looking for as a centre back

Would be a good signing, always rated him as a decent young player. but scott sinclair is available for 8million (brian laudrups words) could be worth signing them both with rose on loan - chris

I'd like to take Rose down to St Marys. He's never had what you would call a "run" in the Spurs side so he may surprise a few people. Maybe take out an option to buy at the end of the loan, just in case. He's still fairly young and always looks keen every time i've seen him play

I'd love to get Scott Sinclair. I mean we've got Jake as a forward in our youth so that'd be an attraction to move him to us. We can afford him I reckon within the set wage budget. Also agree with the Bassong comment he'd be a good signing. I'm just not so keen on Danny Rose.
