Southampton in January look to be offloading a few players. Some I think rightfully so. Although have to say I'm a bit concerned with one or two listed as possible.
Lee Barnard to Bournemouth (Permanent deal 200k).
Jonathan Forte to Scunthorpe (End of season loan).
Danny Butterfield to Swindon (End of season loan).
Jos Hooiveld to Vitesse (Permanent deal 500k).
Richard Chaplow to Crystal Palace (Permanent deal unknown rough fee).
Steve De Ridder to Bristol City (Permanent deal 500k).
Billy Sharp to Nottingham Forest (From loan to permanent deal for 2mil).

All plausible and to teams who sound reasonable.. Don't think we'd offload ALL of them as that would be stupid, but they all seem reasonable. None of them would cut it at this level except perhaps Billy, but he'd never be a main striker. He did a great job for us though, I'd like to see him given a chance. He's enjoying life at Forest though.

I heard Danny Seaborne to Charlton was looking like loan to permanent deal.

Can't see why the first poster had concerns about some of the players suggested to move on-it was he who made the suggestion!!
Agree1

Good Post.
Ryan Dickson - Yeovil Loan
Dean Hammond - Brighton 200K
Seabourne - Charlton 200K
Martin - Eastleigh Loan
Boruc - OOC
Ins - realistic
Davies - Brum 2.5M
Phillips - Blackpool 3M
A NO1 GK at 5M
Future in bright - it is red with a little white COYR
Agree3
Disagree4
Davies won't be bought. Would probably be a waste. Phillips would be worthwhile I think though. For the GK I think we're going to spend quite a bit on that German keeper Ter Stegen.
Agree2
Disagree1
Uh tot he poster who put "Martin - eastleigh loan"
Are you having a laugh? He's on loan at Crystal Palace for the season and would hardly go back to non league!
Agree3

We would have no chance of Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

2.SANCHEZ
3.DANN
4.HOOPER

Dann and Hooper are not worth it. They are not good enough for the Premier league. Ter Stegen would be a magnificent signing and I hope Adkins and Cortese do everything possible to bring him to St Mary's. As for Sanchez... Just can't see it.
Agree11
Disagree2
Nah Hooper just scores in the Champions League but he's not good enough for the Prem. Ok then. Now back on planet earth he is good enough for the Prem just too good for Southampton
Agree2
Disagree12
He is not good enough for the Premiership or for Southampton. He is at the place best for him in Celtic because he can play well with the team there. Not a Premiership player.
Agree3
Disagree1
Hooper not a prem player, ridiculous. Just like all the saints fans saying Ramirez is world class yet he's never played in a European qualifier let alone Champions league/ Europa league proper
Hooper is to good for saints
Agree4
Disagree8
Ramirez is a very good player. Not World class yet but still very good. Hooper is a very good player but he'd be out of his comfort zone in the Premiership. Cup tournaments work very different to leagues as far as how teams and individuals work.
Agree5
Disagree3
At least there is common ground here that both the saints and the Celtic fans think this won't be happening.
Agree2
Disagree2
Hooper is decent. It's debatable but I believe he wouldn't improve our squad.
Scoring against Sunday pub league sides most weeks proves nothing.
You really are having a laugh bringing Ramirez into it.
Agree5
Disagree1
Ramirez plays international football rugularly for the team which won the copa america. Technically that is world class.
Agree6
Disagree0
Ramirez has played 13 games for Uruguay. Hardly regular is it. And Hooper doesn't just score against "pub teams" Braga, Udinese, Rennes, Spartak Moscow, Helsingbourgs etc.
Opposition is irrelevant, a strikers job is to put the ball in the net, which Hooper does.
Messi regularly scores 60+ a season and so does Ronaldo, does that mean they play against pub teams.
Agree1
Disagree3
Well, if Hooper is being bracketed with Messi and Ronaldo we really must have him!LOL
He will leave in January, almost certainly not to Saints, so suggest the Celtic supporters find another site to invade.
Agree4
Disagree1
Why does this argument have to pop up every month. It's a ridiculously pointless argument.
Agree3
Disagree1
Ramirez is top class,i dont think he will be at saints in two years time hes too good.
Agree3
Disagree3
He will equally have to make sure he is still good enough for them in two years time!

Well... I would definitely not like to see Dann or Robinson... But luckily it's the Mail so false.

Robinson is a good solid keeper

Robinson will never be at his best again. He is Championship standard now. Need Ter Stegen.
