Shaw will be signing a 5 year deal as soon as he turns 18 we don't need to worry about him going.

Where exactly have you been the past couple of weeks? It had been reported that we had an 8m bid rejected for Astori a while ago and Shaw said yesterday he is signing a 5 year deal when he's 18. Keep up!

Anyone with half a brain knows Shaws contract signing only means that we can command a bigger fee. If we go down (which I'm convinced we won't) or he continues to excel then one of the big teams will turn his head at some point and he won't see it out. That's football. Now if he himself has any common sense, he will stay with us for at least two more years, where he'll be a permanent fixture. He looks better than Bridgey did at that age.

Southampton are in talks with FC Twente over a move for Douglas. Available at a bargain price of 3.5m euros as his contract ends in the summer.

Saints are hopeful that they can sign him in time for the Chelsea match next week.

Saints are also still in for Astori. The player's agent is in England discussing Saints offer however he also stated that Astori's dream is to join Milan, however he conceded that there is no bid from Milan, who would want to sell Abate before signing any more defenders.

There is nothing in the Coutinho rumours, The only genuine interest was from Villa and Coutinho isn't interested.

Adkins still wants a left winger and another Defensive midfielder, as Adkins is worried that the midfield is too lightweight when Cork is not playing there.

Sadly, NA is serious when he said there would be no new 'keeper in Jan. Butland thing is agent talk and Saints haven't made contact over a move since the summer.

Antoine griezzman to saints

Apparently he'd cost in the region of 20 million euros. I just can't see us spending that much on him.
