Strong whispers coming from the Arsenal camp that Walcott is on his way out in January, with Oxlade-Chamberlain the preferred option on the right. Those same whispers are suggesting that Cortese is actively expressing an interest in Walcott, who due to a lack of game time at Arsenal is unlikely to attract interest from either of the Manchesters or any big European clubs.

I can see us having interest in Walcott. I know loads of people are going to give me stick, but I wont get too excited if we do get him. I think he is a poor footballer who happens to be very fast. Sure, he'll get the odd goal and maybe even the odd match winning performance, but he would certainly be frustrating and spurn chances too. His end product is normally pretty bad. It's interesting only because he'd be cheap. I'd rather spend the money elsewhere. Fact is, he's an expensive punt Wenger made that hasn't really made it. Look at Ox - he has got better and better and now still a teenager, he is far better than Walcott.
Walcott injury prone,i remember once watching Walcott on tv.i hit the stand as i was walking by, Walcott fell over and got injured and got carried off.
