Malaga winger Pedro Moralles set for a summer move to Southampton. Pochettino will be looking at the Spanish market for bargains and is set to offer Moralles a way out of the financially stricken club.

Firstly to the person who has stated he wouldn't be bothered if he went.
This is the chairman who got us from league one to the premiership 2 years ahead of plan, who has made some tough calls and non of them have over time been seen as bad choices.
This man along with Markus saved are club and I for one would be devastated if he left.
Apparently the leibherr family are just concerned over a few in public issues involving cortese I belive this is the Benali and matt le tissier issues aswell as the Adkins asking and are concerned about public image. Which at times has been sudden and wreck less.
I think these issues would be a lot less damaging if cortese came out and explained himself more often but he's not one for the cameras.
Also interesting to find out that the leg leibherr family are willing to sell Southampton if the right offer came in.
As long as the don stays and has a passionate chairman who loves this club and wants it to be successful then we will keep pushing on

It's all absolute nonsense and nothing to worry about.
The whole story could be complete fabrication from The Times, as there is no quote or source, just tabloids copying tabloids. Since when does anything get leaked out of the club - It doesn't!
If there is any truth, I expect it's simple posturing and power play. I imagine NC wants to spend big or perhaps wants something for his own success, which the Leibherr's may be apprehensive about.
If Cortese / Liebherr family are in some kind of dispute, and either 1 goes, we will still have either billionaire owners to get a new chairman, or a very talented chairman with reportedly many keen billionaire connections. (Bear in mind, do we really need a billionaire when we have Prem money and an astute financier chairman - I bet Cortese's worth more than Rupert Lowe)
We're a fantastically well run club with great facilities, fan base, academy and Premier League football - a very attractive investment. If the worst happened, we'll always be ok. No way The Liebherr's or Cortese would or could leave us in ruin.

Rupert Lowe never had much money in the first place but he paid himself well while at saints.
Liebherr family will not sell yet as dad wanted us established in the the top half of the premiership they will not sell anytime soon.
As for Nichola he is wanting only one thing, success for saints on and off the pitch. He is ruthless, football is ruthless as well like it or not it BIG business. A brilliant 71 year old who retired this weekend was ruthless when it came to winning things and look where he took his club after 26 years without a league title.

Lets be honest, we all hated him when he sacked pardew and adkins but both of those decisions have turned out to be great ones for the progress of our club

Cortese has been great for us, I think and hope that this is just some small issue which will iron out. If it is to do with some of the more reckless decisions maybe they will just ask him to reign it in or maybe just inform them of his plans at each point. But if Cortese goes, I don't think that means the money and success go with him so don't worry too much about that. Although I hope Cortese remains at the helm for a long time to come.

I doubt he'll leave as he's taken us this far, he says he wants us to reach the champions league with us so won't happen

There is obviously some discussion underway about how the club will be managed going forward. Cortese has stated today he will make his decision about his future by the end of May.
Just hope he will stay and see through the project that he and Markus designed. Bit worried that the Trust do not fully support the ambition behind the project.
Believe it is mainly about NC being able to have the final say on decisions and don't see it has anything to do with disagreements with past players.

IMO it's a story made up by a pi$$ed of hack who blew his kids inheritance on an ill advised champions/ relegation accumulator bet.

I heard one rumour about Liebherr's reluctant to expand the stadium which would make Cortese look bad after he promised it.
I suspect and fear that it may be down to transfer policy - i. e. capping the funds.
I pray if any of the speculation is true, that it is just about minor control issues as the Liebherr's want more say but not to interfere too much.
Hopefully it is just pure nonsense speculation.

Well he would be class signing? Why couldn't it happen? a lot of people said we wouldn't sign gaston ramirez, but we did. Again we have a lot of money and ambition at the club and to sign a goalkeeper of his talent would be the signing of next season I believe. Plus who would want to go to spain atm? Or is it bayern he's going to? Anyway point is the spanish league is going to s*** the german league is comjng good and the prem is well sorting itself out. So I can see him either staying in germany or signing for a club in england.
So tell me who would he rather sign for? A leagur in which is going down hill a money problems, stay in germany? Or come to england? So no signing is impossible, its just a rumour I mean its going to be an interesting summer so why couldn't we sign him?
