I wouldn't worry about Fonte, I think he is happy, captain, playing the best football of his career, well regarded team/ club figure, rumours were floating around last year to qpr I believe . I don't think there is a right fee to either persuade club to sell or player to leave. I hope. on a sidenote after rating him very much as the unsung hero for the last couple of seasons I do feel perhaps Steven Davis age is starting to catch up and show.

Lovren shined from Fonte's tenacity and hard work.
Now they want to emulate that because Lovren is PONY on his own.
Liverpool want to rescue part of their investment by recruiting his motivator.

Well I had to check the calender to make sure it wasn't April fools. bad news is it isn't. Saints have employed a colour expert to help club and city get used to the new kit.Oh my I hope it's a wind up. still man u could of done with one to make sure they could make each other out all those years ago!.

I thought it was April 1st when I read that Fonte could go to Liverpool with Benfica & Manchester United keeping an eye on 'developments'. It reads as if Koeman will be revamping the defence and if someone comes up with the 'right price', they'll let Jose go?!

doesn't mean they have lost interest. Manchester United and other clubs have so many players in mind. they are probably interested in about 50 players, clyne remains man utds target
