The Clasie deal appears to be in the latter stages of completion.

Two more targets left at this stage of the window. Obviously one being a centre back, and the other has been suggested as a right-sided centre midfielder, which I would class as the Jack Cork replacement we've been anticipating.

An ITK on the forums, who was very reliable last season, admittedly hasn't made any claims up until now, so I guess it should be taken with a pinch of salt still at this stage! He said we already have two targets in mind for those two positions, no names given as of yet.

Well yeah we likely have a number of players in mind for a number of positions. I think every club would, Les Reed also stated we had some bids in place.

Would be good to hear some good news, and hear of some new names added to the mix.

Well it appears the right-sided midfielder may be Mario Suarez, purely speculative at the moment.

Think we need some raw pace, especially on the right hand side. Januzaj might be talented but he's too similar a player to tadic and ramirez.

They have all the details of our targets,at least up until Mr. Miller walked out with a copy of our renowned black box. He is a young, relatively cheap Dutch international, who captains his side. Of course they are interested. If he signs for Spurs ,I think there might be some venom aimed at our board.

If Spurs get him it has to be about money and not trying to repeat myself but it seems the game is all about money these days and not about what club you really want to play for . Ho hum , never mind. I really hope this changes but can't see it happening.

I fully expect him to sign for Saints, having heard Les Reed and read the Dutch press. Obviously Ronald Koeman knows him well, so you should probably expect maximum effort and a die for the cause attitude from Clasie. There are plenty of useless and imaginative 'journalists' who for whatever reason seem hell-bent on having a pop at Saints -Spurs fans or London-Manchester-centric obsessed. Can't wait for the Spurs games this season. Up the Saints.

i heard that we are going to sign 21 yr old terrence congolo from feyenoord if we fail to sign either ron vlar or van dijk he looks pretty decent to be fair and I would imagine a lot less hastle and a lot cheaper than van dijk, looks like he was a youngster that king ronald brought into the first team there too so I would imagine he knows exactly what koeman wants hopefully this happens

That would be good. Terence Kongolo seems a very decent young player and would fit well with the team!

Kongolo's a good long-term prospect, but in the games I've seen him play for Feyenoord, "raw" is the word I'd use to best describe his performances.
