Curtis Davies will have a medical on Tuesday. This comes direct from Davies himself. Fee is 3 million plus add ons if Saints don't get relegated.

For a player like Butland, what is the point of going to a top six side and being no.3 in the pecking order for years?
Saints would be a realistic option for him as Calvin will need to move aside not too many seasons hence.

Yeah I expect Calvin to move aside but Kelvin on the other hand will be able to help Butland develop for a year or 2 and then letting him take the gloves for SAINTS FC

We will get Butland (FACT) we are very interested and Nigel thinks he will become better than Joe Hart. We will have to wait until England return from the Euros though. NC & NA do all they can to get their man!

Hi ed whats the latest news on brek shea to southampton fc. {Ed001's Note - no idea sorry, I know nothing about it, I only know he was in England last winter to train with Arsenal (if I remember rightly). He didn't impress at all.}

He has promise and could be a very good player if developed under the right managment, the question is could NA be the man to bring through overseas players and make them good.
I think so, but i think he is more likely to look into our own youth system if he wants players to develop into his style.
