Southampton want Readings Jimmy Kebe in January, and are ready to offer £2m + Jason Puncheon to secure his services. Kebe is out of contract in the summer and Reading may be tempted by such a fee.

BBC Radio Solent said the other day that Saints are not pursuing either Sharp or Maynard in Jan.

The two strikers NA wants are Japanese international Tadanari Lee and Fulham's young Italian u-19 Marcello Trotta, who has scored 6 in 4 on loan at Wycombe Wanderers
