Reports are that Saints have had a bid of £750,000 bid for Chelsea midfielder Jack Cork accepted along with Blackpool. He has been on loan at Burnley for the last 18 months but has had a loan spell at St Marys when we were in the Championship and also at Scunthorpe when Nigel Adkins was the manager.
Cork is on his way back from a training camp in Spain with the England U-21 squad ahead of their final friendly before the European Championships in the summer which is against Norway at St Marys (surprisingly enough) on Sunday. He will discuss terms with the interested parties and make his mind up possibly by the end of the week. Fingers crossed he comes back to Saints.
