Wow. if we are top at the bookies! I'm convinced. if he was coming we would have heard more. He has said he doesn't want to move, they have said they want to build the team on him etc etc. now this may well be them posturing but I can't see it.
We do need a pacey creative midfielder. Unfortunately I don't think we will get one. I think he is hoping the day of the Ramires is coming. I hope to God he's right but am doubtful.

anybody got any news on any signings befoe deadline day because as someone who was at nowrich you could se e need a winger because yes ward prowse has been good so far he's not a wingerand this was made obvous yesterday because wtithout clyne and shaw we have no width so hoping were looking at someone maybe moses or capel eithier would do and if were being greedy a cb becaue without lovre we would of been hammerd yesterday so anybody got anything eds?

Moses is going to L'pool. Pretty much a guarantee at this point. Not heard anything on Capel, but we were in talks with Sporting earlier in the season and seemingly nothing came of it, so who knows. I
We are in discussions with a few people. Pochettino is happy with the squad we already have and he is right to be. We have plenty of talented players. Anyone else joining will be the cherry on the cake for this squad.
Basically don't worry if nobody does come in tomorrow, but do also be aware Cortese and Poch are still working to find a few more players if they will come for the right price.
Hoping for Banega and a CB.

Chambers not good enough? He was brilliant against Sunderland and West Brom. Only let us down a bit against Norwich and he wasn't the only player who did.
What is the problem people have with Fox. Thought he had a decent game yesterday. I think he is good cover for Shaw.

Fox was good yesterday. One off game isn't reason to panic buy anyone. We played very well in our first 3 games. We played a much more conventional 4-4-2 yesterday when we're used to playing a rotating 4-2-3-1. That lead to us having less cover and more space between the back four and midfield and is somewhat to blame for Redmond's goal. Given that our two best fullbacks, who are most often played instead of wingers, were out and replaced with two fullbacks who sit much deeper one of whom played a full 90 mins in midweek aswell as Fonte, Ramirez and Davies if you add all that together you'll realize we didn't play all that badly and probably deserved a draw out of the game
So. Just me who thought we lacked creative flair yesterday. I could see several occasions where the forwards were screaming for a good ball in. If we want the best from osvaldo we need that ball into the box
I think the team are struggling with the new style. I have noticed we aren't pressing as much either. Shaw and Clyne are our 1st choice fb but without them we lacked width. Wanyama had a poor game. I thought he was at fault for the goal for not chasing Redmond down ( I could have seen he was cutting inside!) and passing was hit and miss. I think we are missing cork a little bit but poch knows what he is doing
As I said above, I really think we are missing the creativity but I totally agree with the poster below me in everything he says. I thought wanyama was poor. He was caught short yesterday.
I'm not remotely worried. I think we have massive potential but without flair, I think we are going to score few goals from open play.

Im the person who put the post on here and for the record fox was good actualy ye he didn't go foward but didn't losethe ball eithier so dunno why you all are still giving him s**t
Chambers was s*** against Norwich & definatly Sunderland, he's only young and should improve but 1 good game at start of season don't mean he's ready. Lacks the ability to get foward in my eyes and ain't much of a tackler either. Not in same class as shaw & JWP. Needs a year in championship toughen him up a bit.
