Luke Shaw has again been linked with a move to Chelsea today with the price waiving from £20-30 million. He was in London today with some reports stating it was for a medical.

His odds of a move to the London club have also been slashed to evens. Shaw however commented that he had been shopping in London on the players day off today and that he wasn't allowed to comment on news of the transfer.

To be honest this can be seen as both wishful dot connecting or a genuine build-up to a transfer. I hope it's the former.

Whats wrong with West Quay?

Agree18 Disagree2

Haha, that was a photoshop message thread it seems everyone is falling for.

Agree14 Disagree1

He would fail his medical (if he has/had one), - as he's always got an injury niggle or the sniffles. aaaachooo!

Agree13 Disagree3

Shaw was shopping in London today and out with Chambers for his birthday tonight

the message saying he couldn't comment on his transfer was fake and Luke even posted about it himself

he's not moving, this month atleast

Agree12 Disagree2

The message was obviously a fake, that's why Shaw commented saying "Nice try". As said this was probably just wishful connecting of several dots, pumped up with conjecture. I doubt any of our lads will leave in January but I'm hopeful Gazza can get a loan move to the championship.

Agree3 Disagree2

Nobody who MP doesn't want to leave the club is leaving. What part of that do the Muppets on here not understand.

Agree10 Disagree1

Unbelievable! As I mentioned in a previous thread, what part of "no player is leaving" do people not understand! This was communicated not only via MP but also via our owner.
However, just to put peoples mind at rest there was a fake tweet going around yesterday regarding luke shaw. Fake tweets are easy to make - just google "twitter simulator" or words to that effect & you can spend your time making up some glorious tweets.

Agree5 Disagree1

There was a photo doing the rounds with Shaw supposedly at Chelsea's training ground, but it was Staplewood!
Further more Shaw was tweeting about being in London, which spawned allthese silly rumours- and as previously stated he was shopping, and lso frequented TGI's.

The hype around Shaw has reached new heights since Cortese left, with clubs looking to exploit the supposed 'meltdown', and are trying to test the resolve of KL.

What part of not for sale do they not understand.

Agree3 Disagree0

Poor Luke, isn't going to be able to go within 40 miles of Stamford Bridge/ Cobham, without the media and the eternally hilarious Chelsea twitter fans flaring up!

Agree5 Disagree0

MP has said no player will be leaving. He said no player that I don't want to leave will be leaving. This is carefully worded and doesn't reassure me as much as some of you. He can very easily say that for £30m we wanted to accept the offer. I don't think that will happen though. I've go a feeling these lads will give us a couple more years before they evaluate moving on to (perhaps) bigger things. It will depend where we are then.

Looks like Luke shaw is of to Chelsea
IMO the only way we should deal with Chelsea is if it involves lukaku think we need a goal scorer over a left back targget!
Will be just as good as Luke!

Believable3 Unbelievable25

What part of "no player is for sale" is not understandable from the clubs official channels? Ok, so maybe we should/ might accept a £30m record fee for a youngster that picks up a lot of coughs & colds prior to match days but can't see it happening before summer

Agree15 Disagree2

Luke bas been immense at left back, we'd be a lot worse off without him, even with a goal scorer. Iirc Everton paid for lukaku's loan so even if there was a deal for him to come that wouldn't happen until the summer. Luke doesn't want to go anywhere, the club doesn't want to go anywhere so I doubt he will be.

Agree8 Disagree2

Heard a rumour that he's completed his medical at Cobham?

Agree2 Disagree12

Load of Tosh - Rubbish Rumor - Only way he was going to Chelsea was Bertrand in return! If KL was going to sell club, selling best players would devalue club - Any selling info would be blocked by law! Get a grip rumor mongers, club is safe, WANTED players are safe - stop making s**** up because your kid heard something at school. COYR

Agree8 Disagree2

No players are for sale! the Liebherrs are not selling the club it is busy as usual and Totton Born John Williams will replace Cortese in the coming days as Chief Exec please stop with the ludacris rumours.

Saint Arron

Agree5 Disagree1

His Twitter account says he's enjoyed a day's shopping in London. The players had a day off today

Agree5 Disagree0

If we sell luke shaw and go for a striker we will slip down the league, look what happened last tie shaw was injured

Agree4 Disagree0

Who let the fox out lol

Agree5 Disagree2

What does the Fox say?

Agree3 Disagree0

Bet it was fox that started the rumours! lol

Don't think this Chinese billionaire rumour is true I'm afraid boys - I reckon Jon Williams will be appointed as chief exec, and Liebherr won't sell until the summer. Williams seems well equipped and a good fit for the job though - just hope he can carry on the academy and the emphasis on youth etc.

Believable14 Unbelievable7

I think he will. he is a long time Saints fan from Totton!

Agree4 Disagree3

There are no plans to sell the club. That has come from the meeting this morning - the staff will be informed of the CEO appointment in due course.

Adam Blackmore has quoted this and there was a meeting with KL this morning.

Apparently the football club is to continue on the path it is on.

This I believe is probably a good thing. Get a good CEO in - and John Williams has had nothing but good things said about him from all corners - and I see no reason why our present trajectory cannot be continued.

The King is dead, long live the King!

Was really hoping wang deal would happen. Would be great to have our luxury saints fc hotel, spa, shopping mall, luxury cinema e. t. c. Did seem a bit unrealistic tbo
