Saints are looking into the possibility of signing Torino CB Angelo Ogbonna for a potential fee of 8-10 million pound.

Believable13 Unbelievable10

Be a good signing 24 and fast

Trev saint

Agree5 Disagree5

Would really prefer to take Victor Ruiz who we've been linked to.

Agree3 Disagree8

No chance

Agree5 Disagree3

Someones been playing a bit too much F*fa.

Agree12 Disagree1

Remember FIFA isn't real life

Agree4 Disagree2

Neither is having billions of pounds backing and being debt free, not for us saints though eh boys?

st stuie

Saints linked with Charlie Austin.

Personally, I think we could do better. We were linked with him in league 1 ffs.

Lenny

Believable13 Unbelievable10

Yh but now he's progressed and has scored enough goals this year to prove he's worth a go in the prem, he'd be a good signing

Agree4 Disagree2

Yes he would be a good signing, for hull!

Agree1 Disagree1

No chance "personally I think we could do better" the boy scores goals for fun, just pretend his names charlio austino he's brazilian with the same goal return and you might like him, all these foreign whores crack me up, buy british lenny

st stuie

Agree3 Disagree1

Remember we signed rickie in league 1, and he's proved himself in championship and premiership.
so can't see why austin can't do it too

Agree2 Disagree1

It's not that stuie. He played second fiddle to Jay Rod last season; why would we want someone inferior?

Lenny

Agree1 Disagree0

He never did and if he did his goal return would make him even better than I first thought

Saints have held initial talks with joaquin from Malaga. He is out of contract at the end of the season. He could link up with Jesus Gamez and keep there right sided partnership together at Southampton.

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Joaquin good player, bit too old for me. Maybe some experience won't be a bad thing though.

Agree5 Disagree2

Why would saints be interested in a 31 year old?

Agree4 Disagree4

He´s quite old but he is a good player and free so I wouldn't mind

Agree6 Disagree2

Not like saints to buy an old player (25+in my mind) but anything can happen in the end

Agree1 Disagree0

Wouldnt be interested in a 31 year old? Lambert is 31!

Victor Wanyama - Celtic - £7m+
Internal Source
Schneiderlin on way out?

Believable6 Unbelievable12

Schneiderlin not on his way out. Don't be silly. Wanyama may join us though. {Ed007's Note - Now who's being silly?}

Agree13 Disagree4

How many times can people say MP sais we are not selling are big players aka shniderlin, lambert, shaw etc wanyama is competition for cork and morgan.

Trev saint

Agree9 Disagree1

Heard a lot about Wanyama coming down south. Can only see it as being for rotation/competition for Cork and Schneiderlin, as Davis plays CAM more now.

Heard inter want Schneiderlin, but with Cortese staying he wouldn't go for anything less than a huge sum no one would want to pay.

Agree9 Disagree2

Spiderman is not on his way out. I would love to see Wanyama come to Saints.

Lenny

Agree8 Disagree2

*Sigh. * Wanyama would be fantastic but I really can't see it happening. We may be ambitious, but you are talking about a player rated highly by the likes of United, Arsenal and Liverpool, who are either already in, or will be challenging for before us, Champions League places, and this player has already played in the Champions League against Barcelona and will want that taste again.

I hate to keep doing us down as we had a superb season but a lot of people are getting very ahead of ourselves right now.

Schneiderlin however won't leave, he's extremely happy at the club and Cortese knows how good he is, as do all of us. He wouldn't leave except for a massive sum which would be un-turn-down-able.

Agree9 Disagree4

Yeah Schneiderlin signed a 5 year contract then suddenly decided he was off this summer. Haha nice one.

Agree6 Disagree1

I'm not being silly, Schneiderlin doesn't want to leave and we are in no position to sell, meanwhile Wanyama would be coming to a better league to play in at a richer club with a big ambition which he could be a large part in achieving if it were to be a success.

Agree7 Disagree1

Dont rate that celtic player at all, he was appalling against Juventus when it mattered. We can do much much better,.

Agree5 Disagree4

7m is probably what a player of Wanyama's ability is worth, but whoever gets him will likely have to overpay massively.

Agree4 Disagree3

Internal source haha, get a grip everyone. it is not possible to have an internal source, details as big as signings aren't just thrown about inside a club, did you hear it from a steward by any chance?

Agree4 Disagree1

I don't think schneiderlin will go but if he does we will always have lambert. Yet another saints legend.
