more rubbish paper talk. star on sunday are reporting that jack cork is being monitored by both fulham and swansea

Probably used him because he's one of the only key players not to sobbed a contract extension this year.
Surely not a step forward going to Fulham

Why would it not be a step forward, fulham are an established prem club, good progression for Cork
Agree1
Disagree22
It would be a step backwards for Jack because he is currently in youngest average aged team in the premiership, and he would be going to team which has the highest average age.
Southampton and Fulham both in similar league positions but southampton going up and fulham going down. Fulham are in serious trouble going forward because they're an old old team.

Cork wouldn't leave. The Star always produce the most ridiculous rumours to fill empty pages. Made me laugh when I read it.

Southampton are plotting a raid on la liga this summer as new manager Mauricio Pochettino is very familiar with the market. They have plenty of funds available with the new TV deals and there owners being worth in the region of 3. 5 billion (more than man united owners the glazier family) top of their shopping list is Alex Song, Iker Muniain and Fernando Amorebietta

I believe that we may well dabble with the Spanish market, especially since most Spanish teams are almost bankrupt due to the changes in the Spanish tax system. I also agree that our owners are very wealthy, however there is no guarantee that they will pour funds into the Saints. I fully expect Saints to make 3 - 4 signings and no more, however should we make it into the Europa cup via the fair play league expect us to sign an additional player or two to help with the additional demands on the squad

Amorebieta has already agreed to join Fulham

I would love to se all these but alex song thow he may leave barca would not go saints iker muniain is a good shout and worth a lot of money and not sure about amorebietta, also feel we still need
another striker who scores a lot of goals bring some more competition upfront, as with these 3 big names who knows but song I think is abit farfetcht.
